Robert A. “Bob Lytton, Sr.
Lytton

Robert A. "Bob" Lytton, Sr., 86, of Augusta, passed away, Monday, Dec.7, 2009.
Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. Friday, with family to greet friends from 6-8 p.m.
The service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Bob was born in Rives, Tenn. on July 15, 1923; the son of the late Sydney Jackson and Viola (Tanner) Lytton. On Oct. 27,1941 he married Dorothy Singer in Augusta. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a 1st LT during WW II and returned to Au-
gusta working for Mobil and Kaneb. In 1953, Bob opened Lytton's as an office supply store and print shop. In the mid 1960's it became Lytton's Appliance which he owned until 1999. Bob retired in 1986. He was also a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; daughter,
Alyson Marchese; brothers, Preston and Sydney; and sisters, Lorene Tubbs and Eulene Roberts.
He is survived by the Lytton kids: son, Robert "Bob" Lytton, Jr. and wife Susan of Augusta; daughter, Margo Lytton and husband Marvin Keyser of Hutchinson; sons, Shawn Lytton and wife Sandy of Valley Center; Tim Lytton and wife Holly and Brent Lytton and wife Stacie both of Augusta; a sister, Evelyn Higgs and husband Bill of Topeka; 16 grandchil-
dren and 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northside Church of Christ Know Your Bible.
