Tonie Deason
Tonie Raye Deason, 61, rural Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. Funeral service arrangements are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
Tonic Deason
Tonie Rae (Rice) Deason, 60, rural Augusta, former sales manager for Old Mission Mortuary, passed away, Feb. 16, 2010 in her home.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
Tonie was born Dec. 5, 1949 to Gerald and Cleo (Irion) Rice in Wichita. She worked as a sales manager for Old Mission Mortuary for many years. Tonie enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors and animals. She was known to stop and save numerous animals in distress.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gary Rice.
Survivors include: her sons, David Deason, Wichita, and Grant Deason, Citrus Heights, Calif.; daughter, Sheli McCart, Augusta; sister, Cheri Wyatt; two aunts, Isabel Asbell and Darlene Thompson, all of Wichita;
grandchildren, Devyn McCart, Eden Zarkeshan, Gabrielle McCart and Colin Kelley.
A memorial has been established with the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in care of the funeral home.

B. Sheril Jones, age 80, Douglass, homemaker, antique dealer and pastor’s wife, passed away Sunday, Feb, 21, 2010.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present 6-8p.m., Hilyard-Smith Fu-
neral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the First Baptist Church, 107 S. Maple, Douglass. Graveside service 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Grandview Cemetery, Kaw City, Okla.
Sheril was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Reverend Allan W. Jones; one daughter and eight siblings.
She is survived by: daughters, Sandra Price and Debbie (Leonard) Baca; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Hodges; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church.

William D. Guest, 83, of Wichita and formerly of Augusta, retired Southwestern Bell services manager, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.
