Bonnie B. Vancil
Bonnie B. Vancil, 99, Augusta, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010 in
Augusta.
Service was held today at the First Baptist Church in Augusta. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Bonnie was born on Nov. 12,1910 in Benton, 111., the daughter of the late Charles and Susie (McClendon) Ingram.
She graduated from Friends University and retired as an elementary school teacher in Augusta. Bonnie was a member of the Augusta First Baptist Church. On Aug. 19,1931 she married Andrew Vancil in Augusta and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, John; brothers, Fred and William Ingram, and a sister, Thelma Ulveleng.
Bonnie is survived by: son, Dr. Martin Vancil and wife, Peggy of Gilroy, Calif.; daughter, Barbara Bayer and husband,
Floyd of El Dorado; grandchildren, Kristin Bayer of Augusta, Kathy Martindale and husband, Chris of Kansas City, Mo., John Vancil and Julia Vancil of Gilroy, Calif., and Amy Vancil of Santa Barbara, Calif.; greatgrandchildren, Ian, Heather and Roane Martindale, and Elliot Vancil-Ventura.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Augusta, Augusta Public Library, or Amedisys Hospice.

Sunday, April 11,2010.
Viewing will be from 1-5 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14. Funeral service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 15 at the First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio, Augusta. Interment in Leon Cemetery.
Shawn was born Jan. 16,1986 to Kevin Eugene Maness and Denice (Moore) Maness in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from high school in 2004, and married Kelli Lanea Anderson on Sept. 5, 2009 in Towanda.
Shawn is survived by his wife Kelli of Augusta; parents, Denice Maness of Augusta and Kevin (Deb) Maness of Leon; brother, Kevin Maness of Douglass; maternal grandparents, Charles and Movita Forrester of Augusta; paternal grandmother, Ada Maness of Leon; step-grandmother, Mary Anderson of Augusta; step-brothers, Guy Clarkson of Wichita and Emmett Shields of Augusta; nieces, Kaleigh Maness and Amayah Clarkson; nephew, Brice Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Roy Maness and step-grandfather Phillip Anderson.
Memorials may go to the Kansas Wildlife Association in care of Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home.
