Lee Miller
Lee Miller, 69, of Augusta, passed away Friday, May 28,2010, Viewing 4-8 p.m. with, family to
greet friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Graveside service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Those attending should use the 12th St. entrance.
Lee was born in Grant City, Mo. on March 16, 1941, the son of the late Milo and Elda (Fletchall) Miller. He graduated from Augusta High School in 1959. On July 13,1962 he married Judy (George) in Augusta. Together they owned and operated Millers 5 Drive-In Restaurant. Lee was an avid sportsman and fisherman and also a charter member of the Augusta Breakfast Lions Club.
Gerald Timmons
married Dola "Fern" (Long) McCune on Aug. 29,1956, in Augusta.
Survivors include: his spouse, Fern of Augusta; sons, Terry (Connie) Timmons of Burleson, Texas, Gary Timmons of Greeley, Colo.; daughter,
Kathy (Brian) Kumpan of Amarillo, Texas; stepsons, Ron (Sandy) McCune, of Wichita, David (Linda) McCune of Augusta; brother, Dale (Wanda) Timmons of White City, Fla.; grandchildren, Sheila, Steve, Stacy, Rick, Sharia, Stormy, David and Jonny; 20 great-grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Wilma; brother La-Vern "Tiny" Timmons; sister Velma Calef; his grandchildren, Jenny Timmons and John McCune.
A memorial has been established with First United Methodist Church, 2420 North Ohio, Augusta, 67010 or in care of the funeral home.
