Gerald Timmons

Gerald Ernest "Tim" Timmons, 90, Augusta, retired Southwestern Bell lineman and trainer, passed away, Friday, May 28,2010 at Lakepoint of Augusta.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
He was born Oct. 11, 1919 in What Cheer,
Iowa to Joseph Edgar and Edith Marethia (Kent) Timmons. Tim served in the US Army during World War II. He married Wilma Faye Evey on Jan. 31,1944, in Topeka, Kan. She preceded him in death on April 27,1952. He then

Viola Tipton

Viola Tip-ton, 88, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Augusta, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010.
Service 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 2,2010 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Mildred was born in Ellsworth, Kan. on March 21,1922 to Carl and Mildred (Christian) Juedes. On Sept. 22,1941 she married Dave Tipton in Jerome, Idaho. She was a homemaker and a nurse's aide at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She is survived by: sons, John Tipton, Frank Tipton and wife Ruth Ann, all of Augusta and Larry Tipton; sister, Ruth Bower of Wichita; grandchildren, Mitch (Julie) Tipton, Matt (Jessi) Tip-ton, Jennifer (Bob) Lane, Jeff (Jami) Tipton, Erin, Sam and Lydia; greatgrandchildren, Abby, Garrett, Emma, Corbin, Eli, Caity, Nick, Griffin, Gehring.
She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Mike Tipton;

He is survived by: his wife, Judy of the home; son, Kevin Miller and wife Janet of Andover; daughters, Tearie Ship-man and husband Jerry; and Melissa Dies and husband Tim both of Augusta; brother, Arlin Miller and wife Jo of Branson, Mo..; sister, Rochelle Smith and husband Gary of Tahlequah, Okla..; grandchildren, Daniel, Lauryn, Destiny and Taylor Williams, Josh and Quentin Miller, Joey Shipman, and Dylan and Jenna Dies.
