Deaths & Services
LaHonna M. Moyer

LaHonna M. Moyer, 67, of Augusta, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at the Andover Medical Center.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday evening, Aug. 30; services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, both at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Interment will follow in Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
She was born on April 28,1943 in Selma, Kan., the daughter of Arthur and Mary Lynn Canady. She graduated from El Dorado High School and had worked for Seeber Manufacturing as a machinist. She was married to Larry Moyer in Miami, Okla., and he preceded her in death.
LaHonna enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, camping and crocheting.
Those who survive include: her mother, Mary Canady, El Dorado; sons, Jimmie McClellan, and Scott (Terri) McClellan, all of Augusta; daughters, LyCrecia (Cary) Garrison, and Mary Beth (Ron) Pierce, all of Augusta;
brothers, Phil Canady, Carroll, Texas, and Jeff Canady, El Dorado; sisters, Connie Blake, Augusta and Carolyn Miller, El Dorado; grandchildren, Mindi Landers, Jimmie McClellan, Jennifer McClellan, David McClellan, Richard McClellan, Mace Pierce, Sarah McClellan, Chad Izzo, Caiden and Jayda Garrison; great-grandchildren, Bracyn, Charlee, Beth, Maddex, Jayce, and a baby girl on the way.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded death by a son David McClellan, and her father.

Fern Gibson, 92, former Douglass resident, passed away on Aug. 26, 2010.
