Danny Lee Steinkamp

Danny Lee Steinkamp, 66, of Andover, passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family.
Celebration Mass 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec.’30, 2010, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andover.
Danny was born in Albuquerque, NM on March 25,1944, the son of Norville Clem and Lucille Ann (Boeckman) Steinkamp. He retired as an IT professional from Lockheed-Martin and had served in the U.S. Air Force as well. On Dec.31,1964 he married Marilyn R. Struck and she survives.
He is also survived by: a daughter, Kim Hollander and husband John of Denver, Colo.; sons, Shane Steinkamp and wife Jennifer, and Chad Steinkamp and wife Estie, all of Andover; mother, Lucille Steinkamp of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Alan Steinkamp of Aurora, Colo., Phil Steinkamp of Littleton, Colo., and Rick Steinkamp of Arvada, Colo.; sister, Mary Sue Parker of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Kyler Steinkamp, Jack Hollander, Teresa Steinkamp, Hannah Hollander, Ellie Brewer, Jenna Steinkamp, and Carson Brewer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Robt. Talkington
IOLA, Kan. (AP) — Former Kansas Senate President Robert Talking-ton,'whoaistrserveu as state Board of Regents chairman, has died at 81.
A funeral home in Talkington's hometown of Iola says he died early Sunday at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., from complications of a stroke.
The funeral is scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Iola.

Willard L. Shafer

Willard L. Shafer, 75, Towanda, retired construction superintendant, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25,2010.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 31, at Central Christian Church, Wichita. Interment to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Andover Cemetery.
Survivors include: son, W.L. (Kerri) Shafer, II of Augusta; daughters, and their spouses Kay (Bill) Woodruff of Wichita, Cindy (Randy) Struble of Derby and Donna Stang of Wichita; son-in-law, Michael Fur-low of Augusta; sister, Donna and (Archie) Price of Grove, Okla.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Kathryn (Volz) Shafer; his wife Betty, and a daughter, Debbie Furlow.
Memorials established with Central Christian or Comfort Care Homes in care of Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
