Odis Derrick
Odis Jessie Derrick, 99, retired tool & dye and mechanic for the Navy Air Force and Kansas National Guard, of Andover, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
He was born Sept. 12, 1911 in Red River County, Texas to John Newton and Cora Belle (McCormick) Derrick. Odis was a long time member of the Oso | Naval Masonic Lodge 3 #1282.
He is survived by: his children JoZana Smith and Ted Derrick; grandchildren, Kemp Smith and Tamara Smith; great-grandson, Adain Smith. Odis was preceded in death by his first wife Maryalyce King, and his second wife Juanita Derrick.
Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home, Andover.

Robert Garber
Robert Doyle Garber, 57, of Andover, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011.
Funeral was held last Thursday at Elim Lutheran Church in Marquette and burial in Marquette City Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 20, 1953, in Winfield to Doyle and Dorothy (Johnson) Garber. He was a crew chief for Hawker-Beechcraft in Wichita. On May 30,1975, he married Sandra Martin in Marquette.
Survivors: wife, Sandra, of the home; daughter, Melissa Garber, of Salina; and sister, Carolyn Rhodes of Gentry, Ark.
Memorials may go to Hospice of Kansas, in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington St., P.O. Box 386, Linds-borg 67456.
Linda M. Ross
Linda M. Ross, 49, Wichita, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011.
Services 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
She is survived by: her mother, Barbara (Kermit) Landers of Augusta; father, Bob (Shirley) Ross of Wichita; brother, Randy (Lois) Ross of Newton; cousin, Kathy Viggiano of Wichita; close friends, Cindy Weltha and Ellen Sells; numerous stepbrothers, step-sisters, nieces and nephews.
Memorial established with New Hope Christian Church.
Services by Broadway Mortuary, Wichita.
