Angela Garcia
Angela Antasia Garcia, 96, retired cook at Lehr's and Douglass restaurants, passed $way Monday, March 14, 2011, at Lakepoint of Wichita.
Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. Interment to follow in Douglass Cemetery.
Angela was born Aug. 2,1914, to Pedro and Paula (Diez) Gonzales in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Preceding Angela in death were her parents and spouse, Ygnacia “Shorty” Garcia.
Survivors include :her sons, Frank Garcia of Douglass, Gus Garcia of Augusta and Thomas (Beverly) Garcia of Wichita; daughter, Rey-munda (Frank, Sr.) Ornelas of Wichita; 12 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with St.
James Catholic Church, 1010 Belmont, Augusta, KS 67010.
Arrangements by Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory, Augusta.

Dale R. Daniel, 91, retired State Farm Insurance agent, El Dorado, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011.
Service at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, at the First Christian Church, El Dorado.
Survivors include: his wife, Allene; daughter, Kathy Franklin of Andover; 4 grandchildren;
6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the First Christian Church's memorial fund or to the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.
