Robert Dennett

Robert Lee Dennett, 78, Vulcan Chemical retiree and Army veteran, passed away Friday, May 27,2011.
Memorial service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May, 31, at the American Legion Post #406, 9932 SW Eugene Rd., Augusta, KS 67010.
He farmed for many years and after retirement, worked for Steven Ford of Augusta and Bruno Township. Robert was a 32nd degree Mason and past Commander of the American Legion Post #406.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Eleanor Dennett; wife, Miriam; brother, Clarence Dennett; and sister, Helen Scobee.
Robert is survived by: his wife, Karen Dennett; children, Carl Dennett, Diana (Tom) Corl, Kevin (Marcia) Duggins, and Kimberly (Craig) Mc-Gaha; brother, Marion Dennett; eight grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #406.

Billie Jo Wheeler

Billie Jo Wheeler, 78, retired nurse aide, of Marion, died on Sunday, May 29, 2011.
An inurnment service was held on Monday, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
She is survived by: a sister, Ramona Howard; brother, Emery Wheeler, both of Gardner, Kan.; niceces and nephews.'
