Velma J. Frazier
Velma J. Frazier, 85, lifelong resident of Maize and a recent resident Lakepoint of Augusta, passed away Monday, May 30th, 2011.
Viewing 6-8 p.m. Thursday and service 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Maize Park Cemetery.
Velma was born in Wichita on Feb. 28,1926, the daughter of the late Omer Woodman and Sarah (Kessler) Woodman Jenkins. She worked as an electrical wiring employee at Beechcraft.
She is survived by: sons, Bruce Frazier and wife Lori of Leon, Doug Frazier and wife Diana of Bentley, Kevin Frazier and wife Tina of Powell, Ohio, Daniel Frazier and wife Jan of Augusta; daughter, Brenda Cook and husband Frank of Canton; sister, Kathleen Holder of Ruston, La.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Derik) Davis, Amy (Jason) Schmidt, Michael Frazier, Selina Cook, Brandon Gray, Cody Cook, Jamie Frazier, Jeffrey Frazier, Joseph Frazier, Ashlie Frazier, Alex Frazier and Jason Hepburn; great grandchildren, Keygan, Kouper, Hayden, Holden, Kahlyn, Bella, Victoria, Christopher and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Megan Frazier and grandson, Christopher Hepburn, and a great grandson, Logan.
In honor of Velma's abundance of love for her cats, memorials may be made to the Kansas Humane Society.

Dale Marie Ades
Dale Marie Ades, 69 of Newton, died at her home May 28, 2011.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at the Church of Christ in Newon. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Walnut Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in El Dorado.
Dale was born May 1, 1942, the daughter of Bradden LeRoy and Margaret Louise (Thompson) Cooper in Stratford,
Iowa. She moved to Newton her senior year of high school attended and graduated from Newton High School. She worked for a number of years as a waitress. She • was married to John Ades.
Surviving family includes: her husband, John; her mother, Margaret Louise, both of Newton; daughters, Rene Howell of Peabody, Janean Howell of Moundridge, Rayetta Kessler of Newton, Col-ista McCoy of Oklahoma City, and LaVona Larson of Smileyberg; sons, Tim Howell of Hillsboro, Shawn Kessler of Newton, and Shiloh Kessler of Goessel; sister, Corine Caldwell of Fruita, Colo.; 20 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren; 2 nieces, Dawn Calvert, Claredon,Texas and Dar-lea Pelayo Lakewood, Colo.
She preceded in death by her father, and two stepchildren Tim Wayne Ades and Melinda Kay Ades.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home El Dorado has charge of the arrangements.

Linda Kay Wallace, 62, of Leon, passed away Sunday, May 29,2011.
Visitation, 4-6 p.m., Thursday, June 2, Baker Funeral Home, Wichita. Graveside service, 1 p.m., Friday, June 3, Osburn Memorial Cemetery, Joplin, Mo.
She is survived by: husband, Freeman; sisters, Joan (Charles) Short of Colorado Springs, Sheri Morgan of Augusta; brother, Bill Davee of Wichita; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kansas Humane Society, P.O. Box 945, Wichita, KS 67201-0945, (316) 524-9196.
