Billie Jo Wheeler

Billie Jo Wheeler, 78, retired nurse aide, of Marion, died on Sunday, May 29,2011.
An inurnment service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 6, at Elmwood Cemtery, Augusta.
She is survived by: a sister, Ramona Howard; brother, Emery Wheeler, both of Gardner, Kan.; nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.

Thomas Luinstra

Thomas Eugene Luinstra, 68, real estate business owner and manager, Rancho Mirage, Calif., died on May 10,2011 after a two year battle with pancreatic cancer.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday.
His survivors include: his wife, Carol; sons, Jeffrey (Amy) and Scott; father, Samuel; brothers, Joe (Shari) of Augusta and Lee (Betti); nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Tom’s honor and memory to the Lustgarten Foundation at www.lust-garten.org, or to a charity of choice.

James 'Jim’ Sims

James “Jim” Michael "Cowboy"
Sims, 60, of Andover, passed away, Wednesday, June 1,2011, at Via Christi St. Francis with a brain tumor.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, at Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory, Augusta. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 6, at Prairie Hills Southern Baptist Church.
Jim was born March 23,1951, to Willard and Helen (McAfee) Sims in Parkersburg, W.Va.. He graduated from High School in Augusta and married Cynthia Kay Brunton on June 1,1971, in Haverhill. Jim retired from Cessna Aircraft after 36 years as a machine shop foreman.
Survivors include: his wife, Cindy of the home; sons, Shane (Kelley)
Sims and James "Matt" Sims, both of Wichita; , brothers, Loyd (Joyce) Sims of Augusta and Tom Sims of Wichita; sisters, Barbara Lyon of Long Beach, Calif, and Beverly (Mike) Cheslic of Augusta; two grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, and his son William "Bill" Sims.
A memorial has been established with Prairie Hills Church, 9959 SW Pampas Road, Augusta, 67010, or in care of the funeral home.

William E. Denner, 84, of Leon, died May 29.
Service was held today at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado, with graveside service in Leon Cemetery.
He is survived by five sons; three daughters; a sister; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
