James ‘Jim’ Helmer, Sr.
James “Jim” Brent Helmer Sr., 67, of El Dorado, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2011.
Visitation with family present will be 6-8 p .m. Wednesday, at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado. Celebration of his life will be 11 a.m., on Thursday, June 9, at the Grace Lutheran Church, El Dorado.
Jim was born on December 2, 1943 in Wichita to Samuel and Mary (Girton) Helmer. He married Kathy Boucher on May 12, 1977.
Survivors include: wife, Kathy; sons, James Brent ( Cynthia) Jr. of Wichita, Robert Samuel (Sherra) of Topeka, Matthew Joel (Jen) of Augusta, Mark Jacob of El Dorado; daughter, Anna (Scott) Kowalk of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; brother, Grant (Jo) of Derby; sisters, Lora (Earl) Rawlings of Bel Vista, Ark., Virginia (Gene) Dickey of Derby, LeAnne (Joe) Patterson of Overland Park.; 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers Vern and Donnie, and one son.
Memorials with the American Cancer Society and Grace Lutheran Church.
Lawrence Cash
Lawrence E. Cash, longtime calf roper and team roper, and cowboy, age 87, of Douglass, passed away Friday, June 3,2011.
Visitation 1-8, withfam-ily present 5-7 p.m. Monday; funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, both at Smith Family Mortuary, Derby.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Cash and Lester Cathcart Cash; his parents, James and Cora Cash; six sisters; and five brothers.
He is survived by: his wife, Clara Mae; children, Jimmy (Lisa) Cash, Timmy (Lori) Cash, Betty (Allen) Simon; eight grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.

Brenda J. Woodman-Walton, of Wichita, passed away Sunday, June 5,
2011.
Visitation with family present will be 6-8 pm, Wednesday; funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, both at Broadway Mortuary, Wichita. Burial will follow at 1 p.m., Osborne Cemetery, Mayfield, Kan..
She is preceded in death by her brother, Chip Walker.
Survivors include: her husband, Gary Walton of El Dorado; daughters, Jolenna (Tony) Cooley and Jessica (Barry) Byrd both of Augusta; sons, Josh and Jeremy Woodman; parents, Joyce and Ed North-cutt, Max and Chris Walker; brothers, Marty Walker of Salina, Jeff Walker; sister, Samantha (Quentin) Garrett; 18 grandchildren.
Memorials to the American Heart Association.
Services by Broadway Mortuary.

William Webster
William ‘Bill ‘ Webster Jr., 78, passed away on May, 23,2011.
Services were held on May 26, at the First United Methodist Church in Owasso,Okla. with military service honor guards. He was born on Oct. 31,1932 to Kathryn Holladay and William Webster Sr. in Douglass. He married Glenda F. Johnson on Oct. 8,1955 in El Dorado.
He graduated from El-Dorado High School and Butler County Jr. College in 1974. He served in the U.S.Navy from 1954-1958. In 1959 he worked
for El Dorado Post Office for 11 yrs. In 1975 he went to work for Cities Services in Tulsa for 10 yrs. and in 1987 he became an Owasso school bus driver until 2003.
He is survived by: his wife, Glenda; children, Dick and Carol (Webster) Young of Augusta, Wayne and Cindy Webster of Tulsa, Royce and Sue
Webster of Peabody,
Kevin and Melody Webster of Tulsa, Faye Lynn Webster of Collinsville, Okla., Kelly and Angela Webster of Owasso, Okla.; brother, Thomas Webster of Wichita; aunt, Pauline Johnston and cousin,
Rex Cagle of Augusta; 12 grandchildren; 5 greatgrandchildren.
