Curtis Wayne Proffitt
Curtis Wayne Proffitt, 55, of South Haven, passed away June 7, 2011, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Visitation 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, at Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling, with services to follow at 3 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, Sterling.
He is survived by: his wife, Sandra; sons, Frank of El Dorado, James of Great Bend, Gene Center of Wichita, Charlie Osbourn of Augusta, Aaron Givens of El Paso, Texas, and Chris Ball of Wellington; daughters, Ruth Ann Proffitt of Wellington, Hannah Proffitt of Great Bend, Erica Tamez of Wichita, Velma Martinez of Borger, Texas, and Angela Richardson of Sedgwick; sister, Vickie Davis of Sterling; 68 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorials suggested to the Fallen Heros Fund or Toys for Tots, c/o Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
