Clare E. Patterson, Jr.

Clare E. Patterson,Jr., 71, of Apache Junction, Ariz., passed away on Feb. 3,
3, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. (weather permitting) this evening, at the family farm, 12361 SW Boyer Rd., Augusta, (casual dress).
Clare was born on June 23,1939, the son of Clare and Jessie Patterson of rural Augusta. He attended Washington Rural Grade School, Augusta High School, and Green River College in Auburn, Wash. Clare was united in marriage to Helen El-richs on Jan. 1,1959, in El Dorado. Clare was an Off Load Manager, reporting to the Director of Materiel for the Boeing Co. in Wichita, and Seattle, Wash., retiring in 1992 after 26 years of service.
He is survived by: his wife, Helen of Apache Junction, Ariz.; son, Anthony (Karen) Patterson of rural Augusta; daughter Robin Paresanin of Palm Springs, Calif.; two grandchildren, Breeana (Jason) Rizzi of Levit-town, NY, Kacy Patterson of Hutchinson; two great-grandchildren, Skyler and Savannah Rizzi of Levittown, NY; two siblings, Dalton (Sonja) Patterson and
Allan (Barbara) Patterson, all of Augusta.
Clare was preceded in death by: his sister, Clarice Aletha Patterson, and parents, Clare E. Patterson, Sr. and Jessie B. Patterson.
Memorial contributions in his memory shall go to the Augusta Historical Theatre, P.O. Box 561, Augusta, KS 67010.
