76. WICHITA

Peggy A. Condon, 76, Wichita, homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011.
Viewing will be 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita. Private services to be held.
Her survivors: sons, Kenneth A. DeHoff (Debbie) of Douglass, Joseph DeHoff (Laura Anthony)
of Port Orchard, Wash., and Jonathan Condon of Wichita; daughters, Peggy S. Thill (Russell) of Wichita, Glenda J. Brewer (Randall) of Derby; 14 grandchildren, 23 grea -grandchildren; step-sister, Judy Dennett of Texas; step-brother, Terry Reisch of Wyoming.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Reisch and Cassie Condon and husband, Gary Condon.


Betty Hutter
86, AUGUSTA

Betty Louise (Wilson) Hutter, 86, Augusta, passed away peacefully at her son and daughter-in-law’s home on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011.
Viewing will be from 1-5 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m., all on Friday, Sept. 23, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept.24, at at the Augusta First Christian Church. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Betty was bom Sept. 6, 1925 to George "Edgar" and Pearl Marie (Quillen) Wilson in Wichita. She married Joseph Henry Hutter on May 29,1943, in Augusta. Betty was a homemaker and also managed the Christmas Department for David's, Inc.
Betty enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating.
Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Diana Hutter of Augusta; her daughter and son-in-law, Merry Lou and Dennis Gumm of Douglass; brother, Eddie (Janice) Wilson; sisters, Donna Marshall and Mary (Carroll) Easton, all of Augusta; four grandchildren Amy. Laurie, Cara and Tori; eight great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; brother, Carl Smith; two sisters, Eleanor Crowder and Fern Pray; infant sister, Marie Smith.
A memorial has been established with the Christmas Fund at the First Christian Church, 1600 State Street, Augusta, KS 67010, or in care of the funeral home.

Marilyn Kay Turner
72, AUGUSTA

Marilyn Kay (Dikeman) Turner, 72, Augusta, passed away Sunday,Sept. 18, Turner Viewing 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Headley Funeral Chapel
and graveside service 11 a.m .Thursday, Sept. 22, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Arkansas City.
Marilyn was born in Arkansas City, Kan. on June 29,1939, the daughter of the late Edgar and Ethel McCormick Dikeman. She was a teacher for the Leon and Wichita School Districts. On August 4, 1966 she married Leon Turner who survives.
She is also survived by: son, Sheldon Turner; daughter, Monica Kay Turner; brother, Forrest Dikeman of Portland, Ore.
She was preceded in death by son Shannon Leon Turner.
