85, CHANUTE

Willetta Maxine (Ryman) Turner, 85, died on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011.
The funeral will held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral 1 Home in Arkansas City. Graveside services will follow at the Riverview Cemetery.
Survivors include: sons, Jerry Stephen Turner of Independence, Mo., Ronald Bruce Turner of Chanute; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Viola Lauck of Arkansas City, and Virginia Poore of Harwich, Mass.; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Stephen Turner; her parents and eight of her brothers and sisters.

John Hollingsworth
85, YATES CENTER

John Lee Hollingworth, 85, retired plumber and U.S. Army veteran, of Yates Center and formerly of Augusta, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on
Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Inurnment will follow in Yates Center Cemetery.
He is survived by: his son, Daryl Hollingsworth (Dori) of Seward, Alaska; daughter, Cynthia Gerstner (Ken) of Centralia, Wash.; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Roy Hollingsworth of Overland Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois and siter, Donna Hollingsworth.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Yates Center United Methodist Churh and may be sent in care of Campbell Funeral Home, P.O. Box 188, Yates Center, KS 66783.
