George William ‘Bill’ Davis
61, AUGUSTA
George William '’Bill” Davis, 61, of Augusta, sales representative for Northcutt, Inc., passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Nov.15, 2011.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, using the 12th St. entrance.
Bill was born June 24, 1950, in Pecos County, Texas to Delbert Lee and Jo (Anderson) Davis. They preceded him in death.
He served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Bill married Marsha LeeAnn Burris on May 20,1977, at the First Christian Church in Augusta.
Some of Bill’s favorite things were the Kansas City Chiefs and going to the casino.
His survivors include: his wife Marsha of the home; daughters, Michele Long (Jerald) and Tiffany Jones (Greg) all of Augusta; brother, Joe Davis (Sandy) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Karen Montgomery (Roger) of Littleton, Colo.; 9 grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Bill Davis Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
