Tristin McLaughlin
5M0S.. ELDORADO
Our little lamb, Tristin Robert Lee McLaughlin, age 5 months and 12 days went to be with our Great Shepherd, the Lord Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 21, 2011.
Funeral service was held on Monday, Dec. 26, at Faith Baptist Church, 417 W. Central, Andover. Interment followed at Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado.
Tristin was the son of Noah and Anna McLaughlin of El Dorado. They waited for him and his twin sister Rustin with joy and anticipation excited to be having twins.
During his brief time on earth he enjoyed being rocked, listening to his mother sing to him, sleeping close to his twin sister, having his back rubbed by his daddy, being kissed by his big sister Harley, and being held close by grandparents, aunts, and uncles and friends. His parents brought him to church with his family every week and had dedicated him to the Lord, along with his twin sister, just a few weeks ago.
Tristin, is survived by: his parents, Noah and Anna; sisters, Harley and Rustin; grandparents, David McLaughlin of El Dorado, Jennifer (Thad) Colling of Andover, and Jerry and Vicki Smith of Rose Hill; great-grandparents, Donald and LaVonne McLaughlin of ElDorado Nancy (Alvin) Wilson of ElDorado, Larnard and Ilean Smith of Wichita, Irvin and Peggy Beery of Maize; aunts and uncles, Justin Colling of Wichita, Daryan Colling of Andover, Kaitlyn McLaughlin of El Dorado, Andrew Smith of Shawnee, Okla., Aaron and Lydia Cress, of Wichita, Leah Smith of Rose Hill; and many
other family and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Vern Martin of El Dorado, and great-uncle, Jimmy Smith ofUdall.
A Tristin Robert Lee McLaughlin memorial fund has been set up by friends of the family at Intrust Bank.
Tristin, please know that one of your family's greatest blessings was having you to love as part of our family. Our greatest heartache was having you but for a short time.
