Nellie Mason
81. AUGUSTA
Nellie Ann Mason, 81, of Augusta, passed away Monday,Jan. 2,2012.
Memorial service will be 1:30 pm on Saturday, Jan.7, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Wichita.
Nellie was born in Aurora, Mo. on July 24, 1930, the daughter of the late Lowell and Nellie Beatrice (Montgomery) Young. Her life circle included many people who she touched of who touched her. Nellie Ann never met a stranger but if she did it just took a matter of minutes before there was a magical connection. From her wit to her wisdom, she will be missed by many. She will live on in the many memories she created with family and friends. Nellie Ann would give you the shirt off her back then come over the next day to wash and iron it for you.
On July 28,1950, she married Max Mason in Eureka Springs, Ark, and he survives.
She is also survived by: sons, Steve Mason and wife Rebecca of Little Rock, Ark., and Greg Mason of Andover; daughter, Pam Mason of Hickory Creek, Texas; sisters, Helen Pottenger of Lebanon, Mo. and Jewel Bagby of Aurora, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Hannah Mason.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Mason; brother, James " Bud" Young; and sisters, Eunice Liles and Beatrice Muench.
Memorials to the Hospice Care of Kansas 206 E. Central El Dorado, KS 67042, or Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 North Webb Road Wichita, KS 67206.

Russell Noeller
60. AUGUSTA
Russell Noeller, 60, of Augusta, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011. There will be no service.
He is survived by: daughter, Shelli (Jeff) Peck of Augusta; son, Eddie (Christy) Noeller of Augusta; brothers, Steve of Colorado, Randy of Augusta, and Scott of Kentucky; sisters, Gale and Terry of Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Leatrice Noeller.
Robert E. Harber
89, WICHITA
Robert E. Harber, 89, Wichita, passed away on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with funeral service following at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Robert was born on Oct. 8,1922, in Redfield, Kan., to Clarence Lee and Lila Mae Quick Harber. He graduated from Fort Scott High School and Fort Scott Junior College, then went to work for Martin Aircraft in Baltimore, Md. He was drafted in 1943 and served in the U.S. Navy for two years as a an aircraft mechanic. Here-turned to Kansas and attended the University of Wichita, where he received a degree in accounting in 1948 and started a career with the Internal Revenue Service, working in both Wichita and Salina. In 1948, he married Dorothy Virginia Penn, also from Redfield. They raised three sons, Dale, Roger, and Brian.
Robert retired from the IRS in 1979 and became an avid golfer, and enjoyed traveling with Dorothy. In 1988 Dorothy passed away and in 1990, Robert married Violet Tomkins of Newton, and they moved to Newton. She passed away in 2007.
Robert is survived by: sons, Dale, Roger, and Brian; a granddaughter and two grandsons; sisters, Lois Smith and Elizabeth Lundberg; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to first wife, Dorothy, and second wife, Violet, he was preceded in death by his parents, brother Russell, and his sister Ruth Christophersen.
