Jim Edward Isaacs
100, ABILENE, TEXAS
Jim Edward Isaacs, 100, died in Abilene, Texas on Dec. 20,
2011.
A private serv-
ice was held for the family at Downing & Lahey Funeral Home in Wichita.
He was born in 1911 in Dwight, Kan. and lived there until graduating from Council Grove High School in 1929. After attending Emporia College, he taught school for several years in Lebo, Cedar Point and the oil fields in Greenwood County. He married Helen Frances Toburen from Cottonwood Falls in 1934. In 1939, he went to work at Beech Aircraft Company in Wichita as a sheet metal instructor. He worked for Beech for his entire career, retiring as Vice President of Industrial Relations.
He is survived by: his children, Judith Isaacs of Jemez Pueblo, NM, Donald (Vickie) Isaacs of Dayton, Ohio, and Janice Dungan of Osage Beach, Mo.; grandchildren, Gregory Doud of Blaine, Wash., Elizabeth Doud of Miami Beach, Fla., Cory Isaacs of Dallas, Texas, and Nikki Hill of Abilene, Texas; five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in deth by his wife of 54 years, Frances; brother, Edwin Isaacs; sisters, Mildred Sampson and Audrey West.

Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Richardson
81, CHENEY

Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Richardson, 81, of Cheney, passed away, Thursday,
Jan.5, 2012. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday and funeral service 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, both at Trinity United Christian Church, Cheney. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery Wichita.
Kenny was born in Cheney, on Dec. 21,1930, the son of the late Park and Lucy (Robinson) Richardson. He graduated from Cheney High School in 1948. Kenny retired from Boeing as a sheet metal fabrication general supervisor after 42 years. He served in the U.S. Marines, was a member of
the Cheney American Legion Post 295, and a member of Clearwater Masonic Lodge. On January 25, 1951 he married Barbara Lee Zerener in Cheney. Kenny was preceded in death by Barbara, his wife of 48 years, a son Kevin and 14 siblings. Kenny is survived by his sister, Elnora "Gus" Esh-naur (Lester), Ben-tonville, AR; children Kurt Richardson (Susan), Wichita; Kip Richardson (Lori), Augusta; and Kenra Black (Paul), Wichita; grandchildren, Sarah Reynolds (Joey), Travis, Megan and Jacob Richardson, Ashley Parks, Cole Richardson, and Kristin and Melissa Black. 92, AUGUSTA

Barbara Ellen Nelson, 92, homemaker, Augusta, passed away, Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012.
Graveside service 11 a.m. Jhesday, Jan. 10, at Elmwood Cemetery, Au-gusta.Those attending should use the 12th street entrance.
She is survived by son, J.W. Peace of Green Forest, Ark.; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Fred Peace and Ross Nelson; daughter, Freddie Chorn.
