Joe ‘Bobby’ Lee
68, AUGUSTAJoe Bob

"Bobby" Lee, 68, passed away at Harry Hynes Inpatient Unit at Via Christi St. Francis on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012.
Visitation with family greeting friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan.
9, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Park Place Ministry Center, Wichita. Interment to follow at 3 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, using the 12th Street entrance.
Bobby was born April 6,1943, to Andrew and Myra Mae (Jacobs) Sanders in Tulsa, Okla. He married Lola Mae Burkett in July of 1965, in Wichita. Bobby retired from Pinsker Steel as a painter in 1998.
His survivors include: his son and his wife, Joseph and Debbie Lee; daughters and their husbands, Cindy and Randy Carothers, and Toni and Kevin Rawlings, all of Augusta; sisters and their spouses, Barbara and Wayne Morton of Muskogee, Okla., and Vicki and Bill Moore of Checotah, Okla.; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse; son, Bobby Andrew Lee; a brother, Tony Lee, and a sister, Donna McCage.
A memorial has been established with Park
seven great-grandchildren, Josh Withington, Cassandra and Dustin Kemp, Noah Farr, Rachel Farr, Rosie Huston, Whitney Cox, Jordan Cox, Pilar Cox, Joaquin Norris Cox, and three great-great-grandchil-dren, Gracie Withington; Johnathon Kemp and Kelli Kemp.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary; eight brothers; three sisters; and a great-great-granddaughter, Faith Kemp.

Robert Unruh
81, BENTON

Robert "Bob" Lee Unruh, 81, of Benton, retired oilfield man, passed away on Jan. 4, 2012.
Service was held Monday morning at the First Christian Church in El Dorado. Interment at Canton Township Cemetery, Canton, KS.
Survivors include: his wife of 61 years, Patsy R. (Ripper) of Benton; son, Wayne (Sherry) of H Evanston, Wyo.; daughters, Carla (Ron) Mc-Cune of Benton, Shelly (David) Alfaro of Augusta and Corliss (Mike) Graves of El Dorado; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Clayton.

Donald Phillips

Donald Humbolt Phillips, 100, Augusta, passed away Monday, Jan.9th, 2012.
Visitation 4-5 p.m. Thursday at Headley Funeral Chapel and service 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13 at the Augusta First Christian Church. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Donald was born on a farm outside of Douglass, Kan. on March 26, 1911, the son of the late Calvin and Alma Hendee (Humbolt) Phillips. He graduated high school in 1930. He attended Butler County Jr. College, where he studied chemistry and zoology. He attended the First Christian Church (he has been a member for over 80 years) where he met Ruth Thomas singing in the choir. They married in 1935. Donald went into the Army/Air Force in October, 1942. He was able to see his new son Dennis in 1943 just after he was born. He was sent to England and France where he loaded bombs on the planes. He was honorable discharged from the Army/Air Force in October, 1945 and returned home to his wife and 3 year old son. Raymond Allen Thompson
77, YUKON, OKLA.

Raymond “Ray” Allen Thompson, 77, went to be with the Lord, in his home on January 9, 2012, after a six month battle with stomach cancer.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church of Yukon. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery.
Raymond Allen Thompson, was born Feb. 21,1934 in Little Rock, Ark., the son of William "Bill’ and Christina "Chris" (Hild) Thompson.
He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1952. After working at Caterpillar and gaining knowledge, he was expertly trained in the Diesel Fuel Injection profession. Ray and his brother established Thompson Diesel in 1970, eventually opening five locations: two in Oklahoma, one in Texas and two in Kansas. Ray retired from Thompson Diesel in 1991 to enjoy travel across the US with Pat, his wife of 40 years.
