Marvin E. Young
82, LATHAM

Marvin E. Young, 82, ranch hand and entrepreneur, Latham, passed away, Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 at Dunsford Funeral Home,
Augusta. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the First United Methodist Church in Latham. Interment will follow in the Latham Cemetery.
Survivors include: his sons, Marvin "Gene” (Sandy) Young of El Dorado, and Ray (Sharon) Young of Latham; daughter, Cindy (Chuck) Hogarth of Winfield; sister, Elva (Glenn) Lewis of Howard, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gloria (Nye) Young; wife, Wilma Jean Smith; son, Eddie Young; brother, Jerry Young; great-granddaughter, Andrea Young.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

Peggy J. (Jenkins) Wike, 58, former Sedgwick County Zoo groundskeeper, died Sunday, Aug.5, 2012.
At Peggy's request, there will be no viewing and graveside services only. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, Douglass Cemetery, Douglass.
She is preceded in death by her husband Norman.
Survivors: daughter, Shelley Gardner; sister, Jill Jenkins; granddaughter, Courtney Lipke; stepchildren, Rodney and Maria Wike.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Douglass Library, 319 S. Forest, Douglass, KS 67039.

Betty Lou Goucher, 82, of Pahrump, Nev., passed away, in peace,
Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
Memorial graveside services are 10 a.m. Goucher on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Those attending should use the 12th St. eUtance.
Betty was born Feb. 20, 1931 in Pontiac, Mich. She married Don Goucher and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by: sister, Ruth Haley of Pahrump; daughter, Verna Padgett of Las Vegas; sons, Marcus Padgett of Chicago and Daryl Keppner of Pahrump; grandchildren, Lenette Lopez of Las Vegas, Chelsea Keppner of Pahrump and Jade Taney of Las Vegas; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Re-ichartz of Las Vegas and Donny DeRosia of Wisconsin; stepsons, Randy Goucher and Charlie Goucher, both of Augusta; stepdaughters, Marilyn Harrison of Olathe, Tricia Bassingthwaighte and Connie Mead, both of Augusta, and Donella O'-Gorman of Amarillo, Texas; 17 step grandchildren and 23 step greatgrandchildren.

Robert “Bob” D. Glock, 61, of rural Butler County, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012.
A memorial Glock service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at the Benton Banquet Hall in Benton.
Bob was born June 16, 1951 in Langdon, ND.
He is survived by: a daughter, Donne' Steele; two grandchildren, Ashlea and Brandon Steele, all of Socorro, NM.; mother, Harriet Glock; brothers, Keith (Shirley) Glock, Dan (Connie) Glock, Randy Glock, Rusty Glock, Kelly (Brenda) Glock, Richard Glock; sister, Melody (Joe) Watson-Landers; and several nieces and nephews.
