Kenneth Bush
76, CHICKASHA, OKLA.
Kenneth Ivan Bush, 76, Chickasha, Okla., passed away on Sunday,Sept. 23, 2012, after a short illness.
Funeral service Bush was held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Chickasha. Interment in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Kenneth Ivan Bush was born Dec. 30, 1935 to William and Orpha (Shadoan) Bush in Amber, Okla, In 1957, he married Rosalie Walker and the couple celebrated their 55th anniversary this July.
Kenneth served in the National Guard from 1958-1964. He worked for Pet Milk for more than 40 years. He also owned and operated Ken’s Janitorial Service for almost 50 years.
He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Chickasha where he served as a deacon, on the Board of Trustees, Counting Committee and served as director of the Adult VI Sunday School Class for many years. He also served as his class representative for the clothes closet and the church's food pantry.
He served as the President of the Amber Alumni for many years. While his children were in school, he was active as a Band Parent, in the Little League Association, and the Chickasha High School Booster Club. Since 1995, he has volunteered each week at the Cornerstone Church Soup Kitchen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Stella Albright and brother Melvin Bush.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie, of the home; three children, Cyndi Russell and husband Fred, of Cabot, Ark., Kenyon Bush and his wife, Renee of Oklahoma City, and Kent Bush and his wife Georgia of Augusta; nine grandchildren, Jilian Gardner and husband Jonathan of Edmond, Ryland Russell and wife Mindy of Owas-so, Okla., Bethany Trench and husband Chase of Moore, Okla., Hilary and Hayden Russell, Brittany
and Brianna Bush and Blake and Dawit Bush; five great-grandchildren; Jaisa, Joia and Jantzen Gardner and Isaac and Hope Russell; his sister Lawana Graham and husband Carroll of Oklahoma City and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Kenneth Ivan Bush, 76, Chickasha, Okla., passed away on Sunday,Sept. 23, 2012, after a short illness.
