78, EL DORADO

Vera L. Brice, 78, retired elementary school teacher, El Dorado, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25,2012.
The celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in El Dorado.
Vera is survived by: son, James Kyle Brice of El Dorado; daughters, Dr. Melodee Rae Armfield DDS of Augusta and Susan Annette Unruh of El Dorado; brother, Larry Short of Hamilton; sister, Linda Hogan of Wichita; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
She is preceded by: husband, Raymond Clarence Brice; daughter, "Annie” Vera Diane Smith; brother, "Apple” Warham Robert Short Jr., and sister, Maijorie Smith.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Trinity United Methodist Church.

Barbara J. Stewart, 80, homemaker of Douglass, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday, at Headley Funeral Chapel,
Augusta; funeral mass 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec.15, 2012, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Highland Prairie Ceme-
tery, rural Douglass.
Barbara was born in Wichita, on Feb. 11,1932, to the late Crystal (Berna-dine ) Burwell and David Millard Skaggs. On June 3, 1950 at Wichita she married Paul Richard Stewart, Sr., and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by: sons, Rick Stewart of Douglass, Mike Stewart of Houston, Texas, and Gary Stewart and wife Rachel of Augusta; daughter, Susan Lundy and husband David of Nederland, Texas; brothers, David Skaggs and wife Barbara of Wichita, and Daniel Skaggs and wife Lutricia of Hanock, Mich.; grandchildren, Paula Carl, Tony, Lindsay, Tiffani, Tilette, and Tirynn Stewart, Chris and Aaron Lundy and wife Chrystal, and Tyler Frakes; great grandchildren, Sabrina, Danielle, Earl Carl, Maison, Aythen and Archer Lundy.
