Phyllis Mitchell
84, AUGUSTA

Phyllis Joye (Chance) Mitchell 84, passed away Friday Dec.14, 2012.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m.Tuesday,Dec. 18, 2012, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Phyllis was born July 1, 1928 in Walnut Township, Kan. She married her childhood love, Bob Mitchell, on Oct. 5, 1947 and remained a devoted wife until his passing March 12,2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents Frank and Virginia Chance, and grandson Michael.
Phyllis was a loving sister, mother, granny, and great-granny who is survived by: brother, Olen Chance (Lois) of Augusta; sister-in-law, Marilyn Llewelyn, of Norman, Okla.; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kathy Mitchell of Douglass; daughter and son-in-law, _________________________________________Genelle and Roger Miller, of Augusta; daughter, Julie Mitchell of Wichita; grandsons, Chris Mitchell, Jason Goeken, Stewart Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, and Travis Goeken; granddaughters, Meredith Goeken and Loree Perea; 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.

Donald Miller
84, WICHITA

Donald I. Miller, 84, former senior supervisor of Contact Administration with Boeing Wichita, passed away Saturday, Dec.
15,2012. Miller Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at Broadway Mortuary, Wichita. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Miller; daughter, Marilyn Mosyjowski; and parents, Owen and Virginia Miller.
Survivors include: daughters, Katherine (David) Byrd of Augusta and Debra (Mark) Jones of Cheney; step-sons, Michael (Jenny) Wood of Amarillo, Texas, Dennis (Glenda) Wood of Nashville, Tenn., and James (Audrey) Berry of Garden Plain; nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Alzheimer’s Association and Wichita Junior Golf Foundation.

Marie Corbin
91, AUGUSTA

Marie (Ball) Corbin, 91, of Augusta, passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.
Memorial service 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at First Christian Church, Augusta.
Marie was born in Parsons, Kan. on March 13, 1921, to the late Edna May (Towery) and Thomas Owen Ball. She worked at Larson Shoes, and Kansas Brace and Limb. She also owned Comfort Shoes, of Wichita. On Feb. 28,1940 at Independence she married Keith Corbin, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by sister Eileen Barnes.
She is survived by: son, David Corbin; daughter, Kathryn Owens, both of Augusta; sister, Ruth Krause and husband Orlie, of Wichita; brother-in-law, Phil Corbin and wife Rosalee of Ponca City, Okla.; nephew, Gary De-Weese and wife Debbie, of Ponca City, Okla.; nieces, Jane McCracken and husband Wayne, and their son David, of Yukon, Okla., and Tawna Mitchell, of Edmond, Okla.
