Erma Hart Mullen
93, AUGUSTA, KAN.
Erma Hart Mullen, 93, homemaker of Augusta Kansas, passed away Monday, December 24,2012.
Visitation Thursday 5-7 pm at Headley Funeral Chapel and Service 10:00 am Friday, December 28, 2012, at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, Kansas.
Erma was born in rural Towanda, Kansas on March 5,1919, to the late Clara Rachel (Parsley) and Roy Lynn Carlisle.
She married Virgil Ivan Hart on Jan. 11,1941 at Oil Hill, KS. He preceded her in death on Aug. 27,1949.
She married Curtis Eugene Mullen on Dec. 4, 1950 in Newkirk, OK. He preceded her in death in August of 1963.
She is survived by: sons, Larry Hart and wife Bea of Augusta; and Virgil Hart and wife Jean of Plain-view, TX; daughter, Kay Williams and husband David of Augusta; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Lynne; brothers, Lynn, George and Glynn Carlisle; and a sister, Eva Carlisle.
Memorial donations to First Baptist Church 1501 State Street Augusta, or the donor's choice.
