Riley, Kan.; Marion Country Inn, Marion, Kan.; Golden Pin Lanes, Sedan, Kan. Returning "home” to Augusta in 2007, they truly retired.
A cowboy at heart, Jim loved horses, roping and rodeos, he was a founding member of the Augusta Saddle Club in the mid 50’s. Jim was also active in the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club and Elks Club and a member of First Christian Church of Augusta.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Robert S. Clawson Jr. and Marion "Pat" Clawson; and his wife of 64 years, Wilma in 2010.
He is survived by: daughter, Rev. Penny Clawson Goldberg of El Dorado; son, Robert S.
