91. AUGUSTA

Arthur Leroy Hale, 91 of Augusta died, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at the Robert Dole A Center in Wichita.
Friends may view from 1 to 8 naie p.m. on Sunday at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at the Memorial Lawn Chapel in Arkansas City.
Art was bom Dec. 3, 1921 to Buddie Ernest Hale and Nettie Viola (McGlothen) Hale in Dexter, Kan. He attended Arkansas City schools. Art served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the U.S.S. LST 470 in the Philippines;. He worked in aerospace until his retirement. Art was a member of the American Legion and VFW of Arkansas City and was an inactive member in good standing of the Eastern Star Masons and Shriners of Oklahoma.
He is survived by: his sister, Louise DiVall of Arkansas City; sons, Jack Hale of California and Darrell Hale of Kansas; daughters, Sharon Wegner and Connie Priebe, both of California; grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Art was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Georgia and Pat; sisters, Phyllis Miller and Hazel Zimmerman; brother, Wendell Hale.
A memorial has been established with Honor Flight for Veterans. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Clifford Wayne Harrelson
52, AUGUSTA

Clifford Wayne “Doc’ “Cliff” Harrelson, 52, Augusta, went to be with the Lord, on Feb. 6, 2013.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, at Augusta Assembly of God/GracePointe Church.
He is survived by: his wife Alexa; two sons, Robert and James; nephew, Matt Harrelson and his wife Tasha; niece, Valerie and her husband Tim, and their three kids, Shelby, Braedon, and Halie; sister-in-law Vicki.
He will be missed by the Wichita Toy Run Committee, where he served for -over 15 vears. He served in many positions for CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Association), Andover Fire Department and in his church. Wayne enjoyed telling children about Jesus.
Wayne worked for Boeing and Spirit for a combination of 30 - some
years.
The family suggests memorials to be sent to the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC), the children’s missionaiy fund, at the church.



Fred Ohmart, Sr.
81, AUGUSTA

Fred Lee Ohmart, Sr. 81, Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
As per Fred's request, there will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb.11, in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, using the 12th Street entrance.
Fred was born Feb. 27, 1931, to Charles and Mary Alta (Gilliam) Ohmart in Augusta. He married Geneva Joyce Grow on Sept. 2,1952, in Wellington. Fred was a retired self-employed cross country pipeline welder. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Augusta, a third degree Mason of Clearwater, Kan. and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Fred is survived by: his wife, Geneva, of the home; two grandsons and their spouses, Gabe and Christina Ohmart of Andover, and Frank and Angel Ohmart of Columbus, Kan.; a sister, Nadine Tate of Blue Springs, Mo.; three great-granddaughters, Jade, Montana and Samantha.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; son, Fred Ohmart, Jr., and three brothers, Bob Ohmart, Gail and Glen Drouillard.

Joshua Lee Wynn, 41, of Leon, passed away, Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
Memorial service at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, alt Haverhill Christian Church, Augusta.
