95, INDEPENDENCE

Roberta V. Davies, age 95, of Independence, Kan., formerly of Douglass, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 .
Visitation from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27,2013, at the Potts Funeral Home Chapel in Independence.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 28,2013, at the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Independence.
Suggested memorials to the Epiphany Episcopal Church or the Gansel House and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kan.

Randy Watkins
60, DOUGLASS

Randal "Randy' Scott Watkins 60, passed away Friday,Feb.22, 2013, at his home in Douglass.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013, in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta.
Randy was born Sept. 20,1952, in Yates Center, to Roy Eldred and Pauline Luvina (Gulick) Watkins. He was a farmer and hauled hay his whole life. He also was a truck driver, and a heavy equipment operator. Randy enjoyed people, remodeling projects, fishing, and barbe-ques.
Randy is survived by: his children, Tony (Darla) Watkins and Tim Watkins, all of Augusta, Tera (Ben) Camp of El Dorado, Ticia White and Amber Allen both of Douglass, and Staff Sergeant Chris (Candace) Watkins of Kailua, Hawaii; his siblings include, Joy (Gary) Detwiler of Winfield, Rhonda Hall of Augusta, Roger (Sharon) Watkins of Douglass, Zeta (Joe) Sparks of Andover and Perry Watkins of Grenola; and 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin daughters, Wendi and Cindi Watkins a brother Galen Watkins, two sisters, Connie and Belinda Watkins; and great granddaughter, Annesa Watkins.
A memorial has been established with St. Jude's Children's Hospital P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101, or in care of the funeral home.
