Dorotha R. Bogard
95. LAWRENCE

Dorotha Bogard, 95, of Lawrence and formerly of Augusta, died on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
A graveside memorial will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Dorotha married Gale E. Bogard on April 9, 1934. He preceded her in death Nov. 7,1987.
Dorotha was the manager of Lungers Furniture in Augusta for 30 years, and Gale worked for Mobil Oil for 40 years.
They lived in Augusta most of their adult lives.
Survivors include: their only son, Mike Bogard, his wife Jill; grandchildren, Cindi Long, husband Dennis all of Lawrence, and Jason Bogard, Venice, Calif..; step grandchildren, Beau and Christine Messenger, Seattle, Wash., Jasmin and Chris Meisinger, and Trevor Messenger; great- grandchildren, Nicholas and Carter Long, Scarlett and Finley Meisinger, all of Lawrence.

Irene C. Rowland
96, AUGUSTA

Irene C.Rowland, 96, passed into the loving aims of Jesus on, Friday, April 5,2013, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.
Visitation will be 5 to 7pm. Monday, April 8, 2013, at Dunsford Fimeral Home, Augusta. Graveside service at 10 a.m. on TUesday, April 9, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Irene was born Jan. 31, 1917 to Martin and Mary Wetschensky. On Dec. 19, 1934 she married William Sherman Rowland. He preceded her in death on June 28,1978.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Martin Rowland in July 1992; granddaughter Holly Perly; grandson, Kevin Rowland.
Survivors include: sons, William S. Rowland, Jr. (Ramona) of Interlachen, Fla., and Park G. Rowland (Carol) of El Dorado; daughter, Karen Perry of Augusta; brother, Harold Wetschensky (Ethel) of Newton, grandchildren, Monty Rowland (Angie), Gerald Rowland (Juliann), Matt Rowland, Troy Rowland, Charlene Rowland, Katlirina Bradshaw, Scott Perry, Robbie Perry; 8 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Frank M. Miller
79, AUGUSTA

Franklin ’’Frank" Marion Miller, Sr., 79, of Augusta, passed away,
Thursday, April 4,2013, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. with funeral to follow at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 8,2013, both in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Frank was born May 11, 1933, to Clarence William and Ivon R. (Stockton) Miller in Augusta. He graduated from Augusta High School in 1951, and served his country in the United States Army. He married Hilda Kraync on Feb. 11,1955, in Shauffenburg, Germany.
His survivors include: his wife, Hilda of Augusta; son and his wife, Frank, Jr. and Nancy Miller of El Dorado; grandson and his wife, David and Samantha Miller of Andover; one great-grandson Jacob Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hugh Miller.
