Kelly J. Williams
50, Augusta, KS

Kelly J. Williams, 50, (the biggest Shocker Fan ever) passed away on April 26, 2013. He was a self-employed carpenter and owner of Kelly's Konstruction in Augusta Kansas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 4,1963, the son of Carl Clayton and Mary Louise (Vogt) Williams. Kelly was predeceased by his father.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Lisa (Bodyk) Williams. Also surviving are his mother and all of his siblings: Doug Williams (Becky); Sheila Escobedo (Pablo); Clay Williams (Debbie); Brenda Hoge (Bernie); Aunts, Uncles and Inlaws. Kelly is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved so much. He was also Godfather to Lane Helmer, Journey Bodyk, Jordan Bodyk and Andrei Bodyk.
Kelly married, Lisa, his high school sweetheart on September 26,1987. Kelly and Lisa loved to travel and made trips all over the country and the world. Recently they went on an amazing trip to Alaska with his sister and brother-in-law for the second time.
Kelly was best friend to everyone and greatest uncle to all kids he ever knew. He never tired of spending time with his family and friends and giving a helping hand to all. He was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams included the Wichita State Shockers, Kansas City Chiefs, Colorado Avalanche, the Wichita Thunder and Kansas Jayhawks. He recently attended the Final Four in Atlanta to support his Shockers with his brother-in -law and friends and also travelled to Boston with his other brother-in-law and godson to attend a Boston Celtics Game.
He was a wonderful carpenter and was so proud of his home he built with the help of one of his best friends. He had many best friends and had a nickname for every one of them.
Services were held this afternoon, Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church 1501N. State St., Augusta. Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made in Kelly's memory to Lifeline Animal Placement Protection, Inc. (LAPP), 310 West 45th Street North Wichita, Kansas 67204 or to a charity of your choice.

79, Silsbee, TX

Gary Wager Funeral services for Gary Wager, 79, of Silsbee were held Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Wager died April 6, 2013 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home.
Gary was a native of Andover, Kansas and a longtime Silsbee resident. He was retired from Mobil Chemical with 42 years of service where he was a supervisor. He proudly served his country with the U S Navy.

Karen Bickham
74, Augusta, KS

Karen went to be with her heavenly Father Sunday morning, April 28. Karen was born Dec. 21, 1938 to Zola Hazel (McDowell) and Ashford Raymond Castor of Pao-la, Kansas.
She lived most of her childhood in this area and graduated from Paola High School in 1956. She attended Kansas City Business School.
Karen was united in marriage to Mitchell Carl Bickham on Oct. 28,1956 at the Paola Assembly of God Church. They were married for 39 years before his passing. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Wichita, KS and then to Benton, where they built their home and started their family. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Their first blessing was Christa Kay followed by the second blessing, Carl William. Carl brought their first two grandchildren, C. J. and Bailey Bickham into their lives. Christa and Doug added Zachary, Clara, Hannah, Jarod (triplets) and Cortney. All 7, the blessings of their lives.
Karen was a dedicated Christian, who loved the Lord and continued to do his work her entire life. She was a loving daycare provider to several neighborhood children, some of who still call her "Momma Karen".
She was always a room mother for activities at school. Karen was
a beautiful and talented seamstress and made most of her children's clothing, draperies, alterations. prom dresses, and wedding gowns, including Christa's.
Those who passed before her were her husband, her parents, son-in-law, Doug and niece Malea.
Survivors include Christa and her 5 children of Augusta, KS;
Carl of Bristow, OK and his 2 children of Leon; brother, Bill Castor and wife Therese and their son, Conner Castor of South Lake, Texas; and sister, Sandra Husted and husband John of Spring Hill, Kansas.
Services were held this morning Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10 am at the Central Baptist Church, Augusta with Pastor Steve Hollingsworth officiating. Burial followed at Benton Cemetery, Benton.
Pall bearers will be Billie and Tommy Callison, Brian Kellogg, Richard Kasper, Milton Lutz and David Gayer. Honorary pall bearers will be her grandchildren.
Memorial donations maybe made to Central Baptist Church or Amedisys Hospice.
