83, AUGUSTA
Theodore McAdams, Sr., 83, of Augusta, went to be with our Lord peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.
Visitation Thursday 5-7 p.m. and service 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Theodore was born in Dover, New Jersey on August 24, 1929, to the late Madeline ' (Barry) and Richard McAdams.
He joined the Army National Guard in 1949 and during his service he was on active duty in the Korea War until 1952.
He retired as a factory worker at Joyce Moulding in Booton, New Jersy. On Dec. 22,1950 he married Dolores (Speer)
McAdams, who survives him.
He is also survived by: son, Ted McAdams Jr. and Diana of Douglass; sister, Katherine McGuire of Hazelton, PA; brother, Tom McAdams and wife Barbara of PA.; grandchildren Chris Cooley (Tammy), Steve Cooley, Sarah Malcolm (Mario), Mary Ludlow (Justin) and Ted McAdams III; and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Cooley; and brothers, Richard, William and Harold. Memorial donations to Augusta VFW or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Harry William McCarter, 99, loving son, husband, father and grandfather died May 2, 2013 in Athens, Texas.
He was the son of George McCarter Moses and Nellie Maude Leibfried McCarter. Harry was born September 28,1913 in Emporia, Kansas.
He was an aeronautical design engineer for over 35 years at Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas.
He was a member of the Masons for over sixty years. Harry married lone Cormany April 12, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri.
They celebrated 52 years of marriage before her death in 1986. Harry and lone had four children: son Randy McCarter, Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Diedra(H.V) Chapin, Augusta, Kansas, Judy(Frank)Creed, Euless, Texas and Faith(Jim) Temple, Athens, Texas. Other survivors include 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Harry married Margret Gaskill May 1, 1988 in Estes Park, Colorado. Margret preceded Harry in death.
A Celebration of Life for Harry will be held in Dallas, Texas on what would have been his 100th birthday in September.

Mona Lee Ingold, Age 83, beloved wife and mother, passed away surrounded by family and friends, on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
Visitation with family and greeting friends will be from 7 p.m - 8 p.m. on May 10, 2013
The service at 10 a.m. Saturdav 11,2013 all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Mona Lee was born in Winfield, Kansas in her grandparents' home on September 22,1929 to the late Laura Mae (Hamm) and Joseph Marshall Huston. Mona was a graduate of Augusta Sr. High School.
Upon graduation, Mona Lee was employed at the telephone company as a telephone operator. Mona and Wesley Ingold married on April 3, 1949. They were married for 64 years.
Mona Lee farmed alongside Wesley for many years before opening the Fina Station in Towanda in 1964, followed by the opening of the Fina Station in Augusta in 1965. Mona maintained all bookkeeping for the farming and service stations.
She also worked at Criss Concrete of Augusta and retired from Hizey Service and Supply after 29 years. She also served as a Brownie and a Girl Scout Leader. Mona Lee is survived by her husband, Wesley M. Ingold; daughter, Susan K. Ingold, and her son-in-law Frank Rollins. She was preceded in death by her parents Laura Mae (Hamm) and Joseph Marshall Huston; and grandson, Jacob Louis Lambert.
