91, AUGUSTA
Darrell Dean Link, 91, retired Southwestern Bell and AT&T cable splicer for 36 years, of Augusta, passed away Thursday,June 20, 2013.
Viewing from 12 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, with family receiving from 5 to 6 p.m. Funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, June 24, at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita.
Darrell loved dancing at the senior centers in both Wichita and Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mildred in 2007; sister, Lola and brother, Steve.
His survivors include: son, Gary Link of Marco Island, Fla.; daughter, Judy (Dennis) Hein of Augusta; sister, Lula Hunt of Emporia; grandchildren, Michelle Blubaugh, Stephanie Ward, Lacey Mehojah, Logan Link and
Landon Beau link; greatgrandchildren Tanner and Dalton Blubaugh and Mykala, Matthew and Kylie Ward.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Dale E. Gooch, 73, Augusta, passed away at William Newton Hospital in Winfield, on Monday,June 24, 2013.
Services will be at Gooch 4 p.m.Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Dale was born Sept. 23, 1939, the son of William and Helen (McGill) Gooch. He served in the Viet Nam War and was proud to be a Marine. He loved being with his grandkids.
Survivors include: daughter, Michelle Gooch Doan and husband Lewis Doan; grandchildren, Ashton and Heather Doan several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents and four sisters, Naomi Laswell, Alice and Doris Franks and Eva Mae.
