67, AUGUSTA

Judy Miller, 67, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Aug.
14, 2013 surrounded by friends and family*
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday,Aug. 17, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Judy was bom on June 12,1946, to Dorla Vigil (Hancock) and Kenneth George. On July 13,1962 in Augusta, she married Douglas Lee Miller. He preceded her in death. They were owners and employees of Miller's Five drive-in for 49 years. Judy was very active in the Augusta community and spent much time volunteering for Ignite Augusta, Relay for Life, Augusta Lions Club, and belonged to numerous committees and boards.
She is survived by: her father, Kenneth George; son, Kevin (Janet)
Miller; daughters, Tearie (Jerry) Shipman, and Melissa Williams; grandchildren, Daniel, Lauryn (Ingalls), and Taylor Williams, Joey Shipman, Josh and Quentin Miller, and Destiny Williams ; nine brothers and seven sisters.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, and her grandparents Orval and Melba Hancock.
Memorial donations may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Jennifer “A.J” Veatch, 41, but forever 29, of Andover, passed away Aug.
10, 2013.
Visitation with family 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary in Wichita. Funeral service 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 at First Church of the Nazarene.
Jennifer had a generous spirit. In keeping with that spirit, she was a Gift of Life Donor.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jacqueline Veatch.
She is loved and missed by: her husband, Adrian Veatch; daughters, Ashley, age 19, Brittany, age 17, Makayla, age 15, Gracie, age 11, Evalynn, age 6; parents, Tim and Sue Wagner, Sr.; brothers, Tim (Luann) Wagner, Jr., Tommy Wagner; sister, Kimberly (Gordon) Kirkhart; father-in-law, Tom (Carol) Veatch; grandparents, Honey “Ruby” and Granddad “Jack” Burnett; brother-in-law, Aaron (Vickie) Veatch; sister-in-law, Carrie (Troy) Heitsman; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
