Rachel A. Wentz service Friday
A graveside service for Rachel Ashly Wentz, 2-day-old daughter of David Carlyle and Bethel Jo Wentz of Willcox, Ariz., will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at the Leon Cemetery.
Rachel died Tuesday, Sept.
25, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Rev. Tom Norman will officiate at Friday's service.
In addition to her parents, Rachel leaves grandparents:
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wentz of Augusta, Dorothy and James Reed, both of Indianapolis, Ind.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Brother dies in El Dorado
Patrick J. Rhyne, 22, El Dorado, brother of Dorothy Plummer of Augusta, died Tuesday in El Dorado.
His service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church in El Dorado. The rosary was said last night at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established with the Tourettes Syndrome Association and the Bradford Memorial Library in El Dorado.
He was a Danguard Security Co., guard.
Other survivors include his father, Francis of Singapore; mother, Jane of El Dorado; brothers, Timothy of Yuma, Ariz., William, Richard, both of Oakland, Calif., and another sister, Susan of Wichita.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.

Former resident dies in Arkansas
Lawrence Clifford, 65, Blytheville, Ark., died there Thursday morning.
Services will be Sunday afternoon in Blytheville. Cobb Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Clifford is a former Augusta resident and former Mobil employee.
Among survivors are his wife Peggy, one daughter and one son.
Infant dies in Wichita
Tracy Sue Dennison, 14-day-old daughter of William Dean and Oleta Pearl Watts Dennison of Augusta, died today at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery. Earl Moody will officiate.
She was born Sept. 14 in Wichita.
Besides her parents, she leaves a brother, Brandon James, and a sister, Lyndsie Lea, both of the home; grandparents, Robert and Betty Dennison Sr. of Augusta, Norman and Adeline Watts of Ottawa; great-grandmothers, Gertrude Jackson of Wilmington, N.C., and Velma Dennison of Salem, W.Va., and a great-great-grandmother, Lillian Rich of Wilmington, N.C.

Father dies in Wichita
Roy D. Gilbert, 71, Wichita, father of Charles Gilbert of Augusta, died Friday at his home.
His service was at 2 p.m. today in the DeVorss Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Bob McGuire officiated and burial was in Wichita Park Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 19, 1913 in Severy to William and Tecla Deerdorff Gilbert.
He married Letha Preston. She survives.
He was a retired truck driver. Other survivors include a brother, Hardy Gilbert of Andover; a sister, Ellen Flaiz of Severy, and three grandchildren.
David Gooding dies at 33
David Lee Gooding, 33, Augusta, died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Grace Lutheran Church in El Dorado. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
He was born July 21, 1951 in Marion to Virgil C. and W. Gale Carlson Gooding.
He married Terri Lee Cooper Aug. 12, 1977 in Moore, Okla. She survives.
He was a mechanic.
Other survivors include a daughter, Sallye Gale at home; father, Virgil C. Gooding of El Dorado; brothers, Danny Gooding, DeWayne Moore, both of El Dorado; sisters, Deborah Gooding and Sherry Reed, both of El Dorado, Crystal Knake of Waterloo, Iowa; grandparents, Paul and Carrie Gooding of Tampa, Ruby Weber of El Dorado.
A brother, Virgil C. Gooding Jr. preceded him in death.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
