Faye A. Peterson, 95
Faye Alice (King) Peterson, 95 passed away peacefully, Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at Lakepoint of Crestview in Wichita.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17; funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel,
Augusta. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Faye was born Oct. l, 1918, to Scott Albert and Vera Dele (Hill) Kang in Leon. Faye graduated from Leon High School and married Vernon Dale Peterson on April 21, 1939 at the Augusta United Methodist Church parsonage. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, china painting and playing cards.
Her survivors include: her son and his wife, Vernon “Dwight” and Patricia Peterson of Douglass; daughters, Marlyn Harvey of Andover and Julie Fuller of Douglass; sisters, Marge Woodall of Andover, Betty Nix of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Gail and her husband, "Buddy" Scovell of Augusta, Four grandchildren, five great garandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Faye was prededed in death by her parents; spouse; daughter, Delila Pinkerton; sisters Evelyn Loudenslager and Bessie Thomas.
A memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice in care of the funeral home.

Arthur ‘Art’ Charlet, 68
Arthur ’’Art” L. Charlet, 68, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014.
Honoring Art’s wishes for cremation, graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday,Aug. 29,2014, at Garrison Cemetery, rural Augusta.
Art was loved by many and will truly be missed. He was a maintenance mechanic for Beechcraft for many years and his love for mechanics instilled his joy of working on cars and body work, and in his spare time enjoyed going fishing. Art was proud to be a part of the Stage 5 crew for the Walnut Valley Blue Grass Festival. He was a good friend to all who knew him and would help anyone who needed him.
Art was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Leota Charlet and sister, Margaret Best.
Survivors include: his wife of 34 years, Janell of the home; sisters, Connie Charlet of Wichita and Velma Ellenz (Larry) of Colwich; step son, Keith Tabing; step daughter, Wendy Vander.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Art Charlet Stage 5 Memorial Fund in care of Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
