LEESBURG, FLA.
Everline M. Lydon, 66
Everline Marie Lydon, 66, passed away in Leesburg, Fla. on Aug. 17, 2014.
As to her wishes, a party celebrating Everlines life complete with laughter, tears, and FUN will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at the Augusta United Methodist Church.
She was born in Miami, Fla. and moved to the Leesburg area in 2013 from Pleasant View, Tenn. She lived in rural Augusta from 1987 - 2012.
Everline spent her life as a homemaker doing what she loved the most - caring for her family. She will be remembered by those close to her for her zany antics and her love of life, laughter, and FUN! She enjoyed casinos, the lottery and an ice cold beer, but was happiest when she was cooking her homemade hot wings and eggrolls for her grandchildren who called her “G ma” and her greatgrandchildren who lovingly called her “G G”.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of over 33 years, Michael J. Lydon.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her sons, Michael J. (Amy) Lydon and Brian S. Lydon, both of Augusta; daughters, Shelia Laramee of Augusta, Cheryl “Sissy” Laramee-Parfrey of Aurora, Colo., and Lisa (Mike) Phillips of Pleasant View, Tenn.; step children, Colleen Lydon and Kelly Lydon; brothers, Ernest Raymond “Sonny” Hitchcock and William “Bubba” Hitchcock, both of South Florida; sisters, Barbara Ann Dabney, Point Pleasant, WV and Margaret Alice Garcia of Leesburg, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, who she adored.

William F. ‘Billy’ Bevan, 67
William F. “Billy” Bevan, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 17,
2014, after a long battle with cancer.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
He was born Sept. 10, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wis. As an Air Force brat he moved frequently. In 1964 his family was moved, along with many other families, from George AFB to McConnell AFB. That group contained other teenage boys who remained his friends for the next 50 years. During that 50 years Billy became friends with many others, including Brian and Heather Perry, whose compassion and dedication during his last years made the transition easier for Billy and those who loved him. Billy was a 1965 graduate from East High School and attended WSU.
He worked in construction for many years.
Billy served in the U.S. Navy during Viet Nam, but his legacy is defined by the many people that called or flew in to hear his laugh and see the twinkle in his eye one last time. Those of us who loved him will hear his laugh when a black lab barks at a squirrel in a tree and will see that twinkle in the sunlit ripples a bobber makes on a summer day.
Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Bevan.
He is survived by: his father, Richard A. Bevan; brothers, Richard A. Bevan III and Thomas F. Bevan; sister, Betty Bevan; and his dog Ramona.
