Earl A. McCoy, 81
Earl A. McCoy, 81, of Augusta, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014.
A graveside memorial service at Wa-Keeny, Kan. is planned at a later date.
Earl was born in Penokee, Kan. on Aug. 30, 1933, to the late Bertha Belle (Beesley) and Elmer C. McCoy. In June of 1964 he married Helen K. (Phares) Schneider.
He is survived by: daughter, Tammy (Duane) Ives of Washougal, Wash.; stepdaughter, Sherry Robbins of Kansas City, Mo.; stepson, Terry (Carla)McCoy of Derby; stepdaughter, Kathy Winzer (Dave) of Grand Coulee, Wash.; sister, Shirley (JC) Millburn of Lone Tree, Colo.; one niece; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years; an infant son, Gary Craig McCoy; and stepdaughter, Karla McCoy.

Irene Archer, 90, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 .
Visitation 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 10 a.m. Thursday,
Oct. 23, 2014, Christ Lutheran Church, Augusta. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery,Augusta.
Irene was born in Ava, Mo., on March 5,1924, to the late Pearl (Whitworth) and Walter Davis. She worked in the machine shop at Beech Aircraft and was a homemaker. On June 13,1941 she married Jack Archer in Ava, Mo. He preceded her in death, and she was also preceded in death by son. Jackie "J.D.".
She is survived by: daughter, Sonja Collier (Sonny) of Andover; daughter-in -law, Linda Archer of Augusta; grandchildren, Debra Morley (Michael), Kim Williams (Rick), Paula Governski (John), Scott Jack (Ellen), Shane Archer (Shelli), and Tiffany McAllister (Aaron); 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great -grandchildren.

Elma Mae Stanyer, 89, Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, in Andover.
Anyone who knew Elma knew she loved nature and to that end her memorial service will be held outside at her interment at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita.
She was born on July 6,1925 in Wichita, to Leonard and Cecil (Reeves) Dorr.
Elma was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert (Bob) Stanyer in 1996.
She was a loving and devoted mother and is survived by: her 3 children, Jerry (Marsha) Stanyer of Fredonia, Jeanese (Darwin) Graham of Crystal Lake, ILL., and Dan (Jeri) Stanyer of Augusta; she delighted in her 7 grandchildren, Aaron Stanyer, Marc Stanyer, Jill Springer, Andy Graham, Amy Norton, Jennifer Allen, and Christopher Stanyer; her eyes lit up and a beautiful smile adorned her face at even the thought of her 10 great-grandchildren who knew and loved her. Elma was a devoted sister and is survived by 2 brothers, Glen Dorr and Don Dorr, both of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her brother Melvin Dorr, and her sister Maxine Webb.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Elma Stanyer Memorial Fund at Interim Hospice, 333 S. Broadway, Ste 200, Wichita, KS 67202. Online register available at www.heritageofandover.com
