Bill Richey, 79
Bill Richey, 79, loving husband, father and grandpa, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Andover.
Services 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Bill was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Feb. 18, 1936, to the late Viola Rosalee (Burns) and James Harvey Richey. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill was a high school teacher and coach at Augusta, Bluestem and Harrah, Okla. school districts.
Bill loved watching his sports and playing golf. He married Roberta Rhodes on July 3, 1959 in McLoud, Okla., and she survives him.
Other survivors include: son, Thad (Debbie) Richey of Augusta; daughter, Kara (Lance) King of Burke, Va.; sisters,
Rubena Richey and Wanda Barnett, both of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Allora and Elizabeth Richey and Adam and Whitney King.
Bill was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Richey.
Memorial donations to Augusta Junior Golf Program 1610 Fairway Dr. Augusta, KS 67010.

Maple, Douglass. Funeral service 10 a.m.
Saturday, June 20,
2015, at Christ Lutheran Church, 1500 Cron, Augusta.
She was born and raised in her heartfelt home in Brule County, South Dakota, near Chamberlain. She married John Martin Bode in 1947. They were parents to five children. Moving to Augusta in 1966, Verna's dearest loves were her family, Christ Lutheran Church and her many friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John and daughter, Joyce Gaines.
Survivors: sons, John D. Bode, Augusta, and James Bode, Rosalia; daughters, Lana Murphy (Bill), Wichita, and Linda Knott (Thomas), Marysville; sister, Deloras R. Heinrich, Spearfish, SD; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Amedisys Hospice, 250 W. Douglas, Suite 101, Wichita, KS 67202 and Christ Lutheran Church 1500 W. Cron, Augusta, KS 67010.

Caroline Ann 'Carol' Hales, 91, home-maker of Andover and formerly of Augusta, passed away Wednesday,
June 17, 2015 in Andover.

Private burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Carol was born in Morrison Bluff, Ark. on July 1, 1923, to the late Catherine and Henry Eckelhoff, Jr. She enjoyed having her family over for Sunday dinners and loved to cook. On April 22, 1948 she married Frank Hales in Fort Smith, Ark., who survives her.
Other survivors include: daughter, Kathy (Scott) Killingsworth of Wichita; sons, Jim of Benton and Robert Hales of Augusta; grandchildren, Teri (Bill) Robertson and Zack Killingsworth.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew, Lawrence and Leo; sister, Helen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Christian Church 1600 State Street Augusta, KS.

Stanley "Stan” D. Adams, 71, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Augusta, passed away m June 16, 2015, after bat-ling cancer for several years.
