Rites pending for Lloyd Porter
Lloyd J. Porter, 64, Route 3, died last night at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral service is pending at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.

Rites pending for Hob Hamblet
Hobson Hamblet, 86, 327 Columbia Street, died today at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral service is pending at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Funeral Friday for Lloyd Porter
Lloyd J. Porter, 64, Route 3, died Tuesday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Doyle Mendenhall will officiate and burial will be in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
He was born June 6, 1920 in Peabody to Harry H. and Ida Belle Pipkin Porter.
He married Lola M. Sughrue Apri 10, 1942 in San Francisco, Calif. She survives.
Porter was a retired grocery man.
He was a member of the Bestor G. Brown 433 AF&AM, the Wichita Consistory and the Midian Shrine.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Other survivors include a son, Don of Haysville; daughters, Rita Harmon of Rose Hill and Patti Hodges of Wichita; brothers, Wayne of Wichita, and Gerald of Park City; sisters, Esther McHolland of Hurley, Mo. Edna Lewis of Wichita; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Irene Tinsley dies at 93
Irene Tinsley, 93, Sedgwick mother of Lois Malone of Augusta, died Thursday at the Sedgwick Convalescent Center there.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Sedgwick. Rev. Wayne Castle will officiate and burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery there.
A memorial has been established with the First United Methodist Church.
She was born Nov. 3, 1891 in Sedgwick to Joseph P. and Sarah F. Utz Fry.
She married Earl Tinsley June 3, 1913 in Sedgwick. He preceded her in death Aug. 7, 1973
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors and the United Methodist Church.
Survivors also include a son, Joseph of Wichita; another daughter, Lucile Grimwood of Sedgwick; brother, Dale Fry of Garden City; sisters, Ada Plumer and Ethel Arrowsmith, both of Sedgwick, and Carol Steinle of Newton; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

J.R. Reinhart died Thursday
J R. “Russell” Reinhart, 76, rural El Dorado, died Thursday at the Augusta Medical Complex. His funeral service will be 2:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the Lamb Mortuary chapel in Whitewater. Rev. Bill Glenn of the Federated Church at Whitewater will officiate and burial will be in the Walnut Valley Memorial Park at El
Dorado.
Reinhart was born April 14, 1908 at Ford, Kan.
He married the former Mary Fitzwater Jan. 27, 1931 in a wedding ceremony at El Dorado. She survives.
This retired farmer spend 45 years of his life in the Augusta-El Dorado area.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Reinhart leaves two sons, J.D. of El Dorado and Harold Bur-chard of Towanda; three brothers, L.M. Reinhart of Kremlin, Okla., Walter and G W. Reinhart, both of El Dorado; a sister Frances Brown of Sunnyvale, Calif.; three grandchildren, and five
great-grandchildren.

Rites Saturday for Hob Hamblet
Hobson Hamblet, 86, 327 Columbia Street, died Thursday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Gus Kubish of Central Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood
Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 8, 1898 in Augusta to Herbert M. and
Sarah Ellen Noble Hamblet.
He married Nettie Hill Rawlings Nov. 15, 1934 in Augusta. She survives.
He was a retired house painter and a member of Mystic Tie Lodge 74.
Other survivors include a brother, Herbert Hamblet of California.
