Sister-in-law dies at 67
Sarah Thompson, 67, Palm Springs, Calif., sister-in-law of Juanita Thornton of Augusta died last night at her home.
Funeral services are pending there.
Survivors include her husband, Waldo Thompson; a son, Tony Thompson of Santa Anna, Calif.; a daughter, Marsha Peterson of Thousand Oaks, Calif and three granddaughters.

Lois Robison dies at 68
Lois Irene Robison, 68, Route 2, died Sunday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Round-mound Cemetery in Cedar Vale.
She was born March 6, 1917 in Leeds to Louis and Nannie Patteson Bruner.
She married Ebert C. Robison Oct. 4, 1941 in Newkirk, Okla.
He survives.
She was a Baptist.
Other survivors include a daughter, Rita Beckett of Yukon, Okla.; brothers, David Chalmers of Rowland Heights, Calif.; sisters, Alice Chalmers of Garden City, Lila Fowler and Jackie Best, both of Wichita, Jovetta Letbetter of Salt Lake City, Utah, and her stepfather, Louis Chalmers of Wichita.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge, of arrangements.
Keith Corbin Sr. memorial is set
A memorial has been established for David Keith Corbin Sr. at the First Christian Church in Augusta.
He died March 27 while he was driving north of Augusta on Ohio Street.
His funeral was Saturday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Marie.

Nina M. Casner dies at hospital
Nina Mildred Casner, 75, 620 Osage, died Sunday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Jon Grissom will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 19, 1909 in Labette County to James W. and Rose Sawtelle Scott.
She married Glenn W. Casner May 2, 1931 in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1962.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Augusta.
Survivors include sons, Bill of Wichita and Gary of Augusta; a sister, Besse Scott of El Dorado, and two grandsons.

Sister dies in Wichita
Georgia Elma Smith, 74, Wichita, sister of Kenneth and Herman Pippin of Augusta, died yesterday at the Cherry Hills Nursing Home in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Burl Allison Jr., will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 13, 1910 in Christian County, Missouri to James F. and Rachel Evelyn Adams Pippin.
She married James Russell Lowell Smith Oct. 25, 1928 in El Dorado. He preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1945.
She worked at Boeing Military Aircraft Co., in Wichita before her retirement.
Other survivors include sons, Corky Smith of Raytown, Mo., Lt. Col Dick Smith, reported as missing in action March 11, 1965 during the Vietnam Conflict; a daughter, Dorothy Jean Key of Downington, Pa.; half sisters, Francis Harvill and Dolores Swearingin, both of Sparta, Mo.; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Two brothers and a half sister also preceded her in death.

Lloyd Jones died at 83
Services were yesterday at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Wichita for Lloyd J. Jones, 83, Augusta, who died Thursday.
A memorial has ben established with the American Heart Association.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Downs of Ingelside, Texas; a daughter, Lena Mae Brooks of Wichita; a brother, Fay of Portland, Ore.,; a sister, Florence of New York City, N.Y.; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Beryle Little, 91, Douglass, died yesterday. She was the mother of Bob Little of Augusta and Rev. Jim Little, former minister of the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
Services are pending and the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of arrangements.
Augustan’s nephew dies at Arlington
Billy V. Banker, 56, Arlington, nephew of Eldon Banker of Augusta, died Wednesday at his home,
His funeral service will be 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the Arlington United Methodist Church. Rev. Dennis Wallace will officiate and burial will be in the Arlington cemetery.
Banker was born Aug. 29, 1928 un Ulysses and married the former Carolyn F. Schoenecker on his birthday in 1973 at St. John’s, Kan. She survives.
He was a farmer and member of the Arlington United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife and uncle, Banker leaves three sons, a
daughter, a brother, and three grandchildren.
The Elliott Mortuary at Hutchinson is in charge or funeral arrangements.
