Beryle Little dies at 91
Beryle Little, 91, Douglass, formerly of Atlanta, died Wednesday at Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta. Rev. Jim Little, her son, will officiate. Graveside services will be at the Oxford Cemetery at 3 p.m.
A memorial has been established with the Atlanta, Kan., Community Building Improvement Fund.
She was born Oct. 29, 1893 in Belle Plaine to Augustus William and Elizabeth Jane Lilly Mitchell.
She married William Thomas Little Oct. 16, 1912 in Wichita. He preceded her in death in 1958.
She was a member of the Christian Church.
Besides Rev. Little, she leaves four other sons, Elwyn of Douglass, Bob of Augusta, Elwood of Wichita and Duane of Longton; four daughters, Trudy Garvey and Margaret Polk, both of Wichita, Virginia Lamb of Saudi Arabia, Joyce Riggs of Montclair, Calif.; a brother, Lowell Mitchell of Olympia, Wash.; 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchild.
A son, Ernest, and a daughter, Martha Moore, and four grandchildren preceded her in death.

Saturday funeral for sister-in-law
A funeral service for Mrs. Don Coleman, sister-in-law of Augustan Jewell Williams, was held Saturday at the Oakridge Methodist Church in Cord, Ark. Mrs. Coleman died last Thursday in a Batesville, Ark., hospital.
Ralph Reynolds died today at 73
Ralph Reynolds, 73, Douglass, died this morning at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Douglass, KS. cemetery. Rev. Jim Lorensen will officiate.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
He was born Sept. 19, 1911 in Dalton, Ark., to Alfred and Lilly Mae Pinkston Reynold.
He married Juanita Alice Decker Oct. 20, 1941 in Wichita. She survives.
He was a retired farm and ranch worker.
Other survivors include sons, Dale, Jim and Danny, all of Douglass; sisters, Bertha Botkin of Augusta and Clara Smith of Rock, and four grandchildren.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass is in charge of arrangments.

Lois V. Woods, 80, Neosho, Mo., formerly of Douglass, died Saturday at a Neosho hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglass Cemetery. Rev. Dan Ferguson will officiate.
She was born Dec. 25, 1904 in McDonald County and later moved to Douglass.
She married Earl Bryan Woods July 26, 1924 in Pratt. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1972.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the United Methodist Church.
She returned to Missouri in 1945.
Survivors include a son, Billy Woods of Hutchinson; a sister, Chrissie Clark of Kiowa; a half-sister, Georgia Cline of Neosho, Mo., brothers, John Mayfield of McDonald County and Wilford Mayfield of Carthage, Mo.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass is in charge of arrangements.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Potwin Christian Church.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe.
Other survivors include sons, Jack of Potwin, Jim of El Dorado; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ferol E. Marshall, 81, Potwin, sister of Milton Woody and Alberta Gibson, both of Douglass, died Saturday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Her funeral service was at 2 p.m. today at the Potwin Christian Church. Rev. Rick McNary and Dale Valentine officiated. Burial was in the Potwin Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe.
She was born Oct. 17, 1903 in Douglass to Albert L. and Pearl Pulver Woody.
She married Walter H. Marshall June 4, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1957.
She taught schools in rural Butler County from 1925 to 1933. She was a house parent in a girl’s dorm at the Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe from 1966 to 1973
Other survivors include sons, Jack of Potwin and Jim of El Dorado; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
