Lillie Woolery dies at 85
Lillie Mae Woolery, 85, a resident of the Augusta Medical Complex long term care unit, died Saturday.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Axmann of Augusta’s First Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born March 5, 1900 in Camdenton, Mo., to William and Selena Witt Luttrell.
She married Oscar Lee Woolery March 28, 1926 in Augusta. He preceded her in death in 1966.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include a son, Harold of Augusta; daughters, Leota Mae Montgomery and Donna Moore, both of Wichita; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Brother dies in Wichita
H. Wayne Bentley, 59, Haysville, brother of Cordelia Dill of Augusta, died Friday at the St. Joseph Regional Medical
Center in Wichita.
His funeral was at 11 a.m. today at the Lakeview Chapel in Wichita. Rev. Gus Kubish officiated and burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery.
He was born July 20, 1925 in Kansas to Harry Dell and Leva May Miller Bentley .
He married Laura Manning. She survives.
He was a retired Coleman Co. employee and a truck driver for Sedgwick County Public Works.
Other survivors include sons, Galan, Otis, Vernon, Gary, Quintin, Terry, all of Wichita; a brother, Oris Butcher, Wichita; another sister, Ellen Neel of Wichita, and 12 grandchildren.

Father dies in Wichita
Lawrence H. Struble, 76, Wichita, father of Marsha Windorski of Douglass, died Sunday at his home.
The rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight at the Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary in Wichita. Father David Spexarth will officiate. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the All Saints Catholic Church in Wichita.
A memorial has been established with the Upjohn Health Care Service in Wichita.
He was born July 21, 1908 in Mount Vernon to William and Clara Marcus Struble.
He married Elsie Willinger.
She survives.
He was a retired painter. Other survivors include sons, Gary of Belle Plaine, Al of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Marilyn Ridder of Wichita; brother, Gene of Wichita; sisters, Elnora Holzman, Coletta Howard, both of Wichita, Sister Hildegard Struble of Dodge City; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Dwight Manning dies at 82
Dwight L. Manning, 82, Route 3, died yesterday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
The rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Father David Cushing will officiate. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born March 27, 1903 in Colwich to George R. and Alice Ann Covault Manning.
He married Ruth Marie Busch May 16, 1945 in Augusta. She survives.
He was a painter.
He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Other survivors include sons, Dwaine of Augusta and Ron of Hurricane, W.Va.; daughters, Laura Bentley of Haysville, Joyce Daigh of Augusta and Mary Waldron of Beaumont, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Lincoln and Earl, and a sister, Pearl Harrison, preceded him in death.

Memorial set for Manning
A memorial service has been established for Dwight L. Manning at the Prairie State Bank.
Manning, 82, rural El Dorado, died Tuesday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
The rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Father David Cushing will officiate. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
