May Wentling dies at 93
May Pearl Wentling, 93, 814 Dearborn, died Saturday at her home.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 21, 1892 in Knox, Pa., to Elmer E. and Marilda Hunsberger Wile.
She married Ira F. Wentling Sept. 13, 1913 in Warren, Pa. He preceded her in death in 1962.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Rebekahs.
Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Helen Ray of Augusta; a sister, Margaret Helen Atkins of Ocala, Fla.; and a grandson, Emery Ray of Newton.
Two sisters, Leda Sarah Snedker and Wilda Harriet McIntyre, preceded her in death.

Infant dies in Wichita
Manasseh Lee Lindahl, infant daughter of Edward E. and Denise Apel Lindahl of 1002 West, died Saturday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Adams will officiate.
A memorial has been established with the Lakecrest Bible Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, other
survivors include a brother, Jeremy Ray and a sister, Kimberly, both of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lindahl of Andover, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Apel of Augusta, and Leola Lindahl of Wichita; great-grandparents, Barbara Apel of Augusta; Wilma Renfro of Ellinwood; Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Brown of Portland, Ore., and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lahman of Fairview, Mo.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

F.R. Shoup dies at 71
Frank Raymond Shoup, 71, 1817 Ohio, died Sunday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 3, 1913 to Charles Alan and Josephine Cory Shoup.
He married Dovie Pauline Chrismon in Winfield Nov. 14, 1936. She survives.
He was a retired machinist at Boeing Military Aircraft Co.
Other survivors include daughters, Sandra Phillips of Augusta and Judy Ann Fowler of Vernon, Texas; sisters, Cecil DeCamp of Liberal, Zola Beeson of Meade and Sybil Hansen of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren, JoAnn Woody of Sand Springs, Okla., and Vickie McKinstry of Iola, and great-grandchildren, Jason and Lisa Woody, of Sand Springs, Okla.

Mother dies in Pratt
Loyce L. Dix, Pratt, mother of Sandra Rank of Augusta, died Tuesday at the Pratt Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral was at 10 a.m. today at the Larrison Mortuary in Pratt. Rev. D.A. VanBebber officiated and burial was in the Maude Cemetery in Cunningham.
Other survivors include a husband, Ted; a son, Bob of Wichita; a sister, Dorothy Morris of Pensacola, Fla.; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
