William Huff died Wednesday
William S. Huff, 92, rural El Dorado, died Wednesday at the Hillside Care Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado.
He was born Nov. 22, 1892 in Greenville, Tenn., to Crofford and Allace Lafollette Huff.
He married Ethel Roberts Dec. 12, 1912 in Greenville, Tenn. She preceded him in death April 25, 1967.
He came to Butler County in 1919 where he founded Huff Exterminators in 1942 and organized Kansas State Pest Control in 1946. He retired from Skelly Refinery in 1957.
He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include sons, Charles of El Dorado, James of Iowa Park, Texas and John of Fountain Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Juanita Sperry of Chanute, and six grandchildren.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Florence Dunn dies at 94
Florence Olive Dunn, 94, 1211 Starkey, died this morning at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Chester Bodenhamer will officiate and burial will be in the Leon Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Leon Baptist Church for Missions and to the AMCI Long Term Care unit.
She was born Sept. 3, 1890 in Plattesville, Ill., to John and Annie Bundy Vinson.
She married Frank Dunn Nov. 21, 1909 in Leon. He preceded her in death in 1963.
She was a member of the Leon Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Beth Smith of Augusta; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A son, Leburn; five brothers and a sister, also preceded her in death.

Glenn dies in Winfield
Curtis W. Glenn, 83, Douglass, died Monday at a Winfield hospital.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Miles Mortuary in Winfield. Rev. Dan Ferguson will officiate and burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass Nursing Center.
He was born June 22, 1902 in Edmond, Okla., to Thomas Jefferson and Ola Drake Glenn.
He married Marie Haaga Nov. 16, 1927 in El Dorado. She survives.
He was an oil field worker in Texas, Kansas, Wyoming and Colorado for 15 years. He worked in the security and transportation department at Boeing Military Aircraft Co. in Wichita before he retiring in 1967.
He was a member of the Douglass Christian Church, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge 151 in Douglass. He had attained the 32nd degree of Freemasonry at the Scottish Rite Temple in Wichita.
Other survivors include a brother, Lee Glenn of Cleveland, Texas and a sister, Hazel Murray of Blackwell, Okla.
Miles Mortuary is in charge of arrangments.

Sister dies in Nashville
Dorothy Clark, 66, Nashville, sister of Ralph Stalnaker of Augusta, died Sunday at a Medicine Lodge hospital.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today at the Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge. Rev. Burton C. Vetow officiated.
She was born Dec. 11, 1918 in Cassoday to A.A. and Florence Akins Stalnaker.
She married John V. Clark Jan. 4, 1933 in Sedan. He preceded her in death.
Other survivors include a son, Curtis of Tulsa, Okla.; daughters, Sylvia Armstrong of Nashville, Jessie Gaschler of Wichita, Jean Lackey of Panama; her mother, Florence Stalnaker of Latham; another brother, Tom Stalnaer of Whittier, Calif.; a sister, Mary Ellen Dover of Mountain Home, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and 11 grandchildren.
The Forsyth Funeral Home in Medicine Lodge was in charge of arrangements.

Seals’ brother died Tuesday
Leonard R. Willhite, 68, El Dorado, brother of Genevieve Seals of rural Augusta, died Tuesday at the Susan B. Allen Memmorial Hospital in El Dorado.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Carlson Colonial Chapel in El Dorado. Rev. Harold Kieler will officiate and burial in the Blankenship Cemetery in Rosalia.
A memorial has been established with the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado.
He was born Feb. 22, 1917 in Rosalia to Arvin and Lois Gray Willhite.
He married Dorothy Locke June 7, 1942 in Pamona, Calif., She survives.
He was a retired farmer and mechanic.
He was a member of the Farm Bureau, VFW and the First United Methodist Church. He was a former Haverhill school board member.
He serviced in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Other survivors include sons, E. Wayne of Howard and Gary Dean of El Dorado; a brother, Ellsworth of Leon; three other sisters, Effie Baade of Temperance, Mich., Muriel Mae Whitewide of Towanda, Peggy Lou Douthitt of Cranville, Mich, and three grandsons.
