Sister-in-law
Mrs. Wayne Holcomb, 81, Wichita, sister-in-law of Mrs. Leonard Lininger of Augusta, died today at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Spring Hill, Kan., cemetery.

Sister dies in Arkansas City
Parkie Marie Richardson, 79, Arkansas City, sister of AuDeen Lichlyter of Augusta, died Sunday in a hospital there.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home in Arkansas City. Rev. William E. Bowles will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Memorials have been established with the Central Christian Church in Arkansas City and the Arkansas City Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 6, 1906 in Sedgwick County to Jim and Ida L. Blackford Adams.
She married Arthur P. Richardson July 25, 1925 in Augusta.
She was a member of the Central Christian Church.
Other survivors include a son, Don Richardson of Topeka; another sister, Sally Lang of Potwin; two grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

Evelyn Kipper dies at 80
Evelyn R. Kipper, 80, Linn, sister of Alice Carnes of Augusta, died Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Graveside services were Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Washington, Kan., cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Linn, Kan., United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include brothers, Harold Wells of Boise, Idaho, Ralph Wells of Bend Ore.; sisters, Laura Trotter of Kansas City, Mo., Helen M. Setnor of Topeka and Marjorie Stenger of Wichita.

J.A. ‘Art’ Zehe dies at 79
John Arthur “Art” Zehe, 79, of Liberty, Mo., formerly of Augusta, died Sunday at the Pleasant Valley nursing home in Liberty. He became a resident of the home about nine months ago.
His funeral service will be 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Catholic Church in Liberty with burial in the Glenridge Cemetery there.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.,
Zehe was a signal maintainer for Santa Fe Railway Co. before his retirement. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, St. James Knights of Columbus and the Augusta Elks Lodge.
His wife, Frances, of the home, survives. Cards may be sent to her at Mockingbird Manor, 227 W. Franklin, Liberty, Mo., 64068.

Vivian Butler dies at 75
Vivian F. Butler, 75, Port Orchard, Wash., formerly of Augusta, died in Port Orchard Thursday, Nov. 14.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Rev. Robert Brooks of the Augusta First United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born April 28, 1910 in Kiowa, Okla., to Roy and Kellye Byrne Cook.
She married Lewis I. Butler Aug. 6, 1932 in Wichita. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Mrs. Butler was a former employee of the C.R. Calvert Co. and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Thomas of Port Orchard; a daughter, Kellye Adams of Wichita; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Owen Hitchings dies at 80
Owen Eugene Hitchings, 80, Wichita, died Saturday at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Elmwood
Cemetery here.
He was born May 10, 1905 in Winfield to Joseph and Mollie
Lawless Hitchings.
He was a retired engineer at Boeing Military Aircraft Co., in Wichita.
Survivors include a son, Gene Hitchings of Las Vegas, Nev., and a grandson.

Vivian Butler service today
A funeral service for Vivian F. Butler, 75, Port Orchard, Wash., formerly of Augusta, was held today at the Dunsford Funeral Home here. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
She died Nov. 14 in Port
Orchard.
Mrs. Butler lived in Augusta from 1930 until 1980. She was an astrologer and worked at the C.R. Calvert Department Store here as the head of the gift wrapping department. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Thomas of Port Orchard; a daughter, Kellye Adams of Wichita; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
