Nina H. Olson funeral Thursday
Nina Harriet Olson, 64, 520 E. Fourteenth, died yesterday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the United Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Brooks will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born June 29, 1921 in Kansas City, Mo., to Howard and Estella Lake Lamoore.
She married William L. Olson in Augusta in 1946. He survives.
She was a former third grade teacher, an Augusta social worker and supervisor of the Social and Rehabilitation Service (SRS) offices in El Dorado and Augusta.
Other survivors include twin children, William R. Olson of El Dorado and Joanna L. Braman of Mayetta; a sister, Alice Lipperd of Winfield; a nephew, Allen Lipperd and a niece, Harriet Taylor, both of Winfield.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 2312 E. Central, Wichita, Kan., 67214.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Ida Parrish dies at 86
Ida J. Parrish, 86, Arma, mother of Neal Parrish of Augusta, died Wednesday at a nursing home in Girard.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma. Rev. Leon Weece will officiate and burial will be in the Large Cemetery at Cato.
She was born March 22, 1899 in Arcadia to William and Mae Nickell Elliott.
She married Walter Parrish March 15, 1921 in Girard. He survives.
She was a member of the Arcadia Christian Church. She was a former longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors also include sons, Frank Parrish of Apache Junction, Ariz., John Parrish of Arcadia; daughter, Ruth Yost of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Effie Palmer of Lampe, Mo., Ebbie Dickey of Lampe; brother, Warren Elliott of Baldwin City; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside rites here for Tway
Roy O. Tway, 82, Joplin, Mo., a former Augusta-area resident, died Friday evening at his home after several months of ill health.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Elmwood Cemetery here at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. That will be preceded by a 9 a.m. service at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary chapel in Joplin.
Until his retirement last year, Tway was a self-employed furniture dealer. He has spent the last 30 years in Joplin.
He was born March 11, 1903 at Galena.
Mr. Tway leaves two sons, Gene Tway of New Castle, Pa., and Wayne Tway of Wichita, and three grandchildren.
Infant dies in Wichita
Christopher Alan Lewis, son of Dennis Wayne and Jeanice Bybee Lewis, 1201 Money, was stillborn at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Friday.
A graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m. today at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Jon Grisson of the First Christian Church officiated.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Anthony Wayne; grandparents Robert and Geri Bybee of Waco, Louise Bybee of Denver, Colo., Henry G. Lewis of El Dorado, and Ed and Erma Potter of Augusta.

Ruby Rodman dies at 73
Ruby I. Rodman, 73, Wichita, died Sunday at the Cherry Creek Nursing Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Culbertson-Smith Mortuary Chapel in Wichita. Rev. Lyle Mitchell will officiate and burial will be in the Branson Cemetery in Sedgwick County.
Mrs. Rodman once had relatives living in Augusta and was known to many people here.
She was born April 7, 1912 in Stroud, Okla., to Robert E. and Ida Corn Dennett.
She married Frank Rodman. He preceded her in death in 1972.
She was a retired sales clerk.
Survivors include a daughter, Corrine Schwenk of Lompoc, Calif.; a sister, Charlotte Godden of Keensburg, Ill.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Paul Henry Carriger dies in Oklahoma
Paul Henry Carriger, 77, Broken Arrow, Okla., formerly of Augusta, died Monday in Broken Arrow.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Walnut Valley Cemetery in El Dorado.
Friends may view Wedneday evening and on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home.
He was born June 27, 1908 in Harper County in Oklahoma to Charles and Emma Feeser Carriger.
He married Irene Lowrence July 25, 1938 in El Dorado. She preceded him in death in 1972.
He was a retired Mobil Refinery Co., worker.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include sons, Bobby Lee of Broken Arrow, Richard Eugene of Fort Scott and James Thomas of Pryor, Okla.; a daughter, Peggy Lou Beene of Aurora, Colo.; a brother, Kenneth of Newkirk, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
