Maurine Taylor dies at 90
Maurine E. Taylor, 90, Wichita, mother of Betty Peak of Augusta, died Monday at a nursing center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Wichita. Rev. Gorden Tasker will officiate and burial will be in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
A memorial has been established with Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
She was born Feb. 3, 1895 in Union Star, Mo., to Oliver W. and Martha MacMorran Little.
She married Herbert R. Peak. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Other survivors include sons, Richard of Wichita, Jean of Casper, Wyo.; sister, Margaret Stitt of Wichita; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Cochran Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

Jerri Mauk dies at 63
Jerri Mauk, 63, Wichita, died yesterday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the First Christian Church in Douglass. Dr. Tom Parish will officiate and burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
She was born Jan. 6, 1923 in Madill, Okla., to John and Jessie Huebsch Arrington.
She married Vernon Mauk Aug. 20, 1945 in Augusta. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, John Mauk of Wichita; daughter, Sally Mauk of Missoula, Mont.; brother, Bill Arrington of Bridgeport, Texas; sister, Mrs. Jack Purcell of LaFayette, La., and two grandchildren.

Earlene Church dies at 26
Earlene D. Church, 26, Wellington, daughter of Earl Gooding of Augusta, died Jan. 12 in Kansas City, Mo.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington. Rev. Paul Clayton officiated.
She was born Sept. 4, 1959 in Wichita to Earl and Doris Guthrie Gooding.
Besides her father, she leaves a son, Travis Church of Rose Hill; her mother, Doris Gooding of Wellington; a brother, Ervin Wesley Gooding of Wellington; two sisters, Tonia Gooding and Kim Gooding, both of Wellington; a step-grandfather, B.L. Moulder of Wichita, and a grandmother, Lucille Guthrie of Fayetteville, Ark.

Charles Hufferd dies at 54
Charles E. Hufferd, 54, Wichita, father of Mike Hufferd of Douglass, died Tuesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Broadway Mortuary in Wichita. Chaplain John R. Blue will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1:15 p.m. Friday at the Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville.
He was born Aug. 1, 1931 in LaHarpe to Charles Eugene and Lena Shomaker Hufferd Sr.
He married Theda L. Johnson in 1972. She survives.
He was a Cessna Aircraft sheetmetal assembly worker.
Other survivors include a stepson, Lance D. Johnson of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Reeves of Sedan; a stepdaughter, April E. Johnson of the home; mother, Lena Hufferd of Coffeyville; sister, Margaret Lochner of South Coffeyville, Okla., and two grandlchildren.

Rites Monday for Eunice Murphy
Eunice LaVina Murphy, 74, 436 Broadway, died yesterday at Bethel Hospital in Newton.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 29, 1911 in Kansas to Joseph and Minnie Basham Herndon.
She married Gifford Dale Murphy Aug. 20, 1931 in Augusta. He preceded her in death in 1965.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Other survivors include sons Elwyn and Ronald of Augusta, and Raymond, address unknown; daughter, Darlene Johnson of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, Leanard Heardon of Bella Vista, Ark.; Olive Eckert of Leon; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Sister dies in Emporia
Rosella Marie Baysinger, 71, sister of Ruby Rhodes of Douglass, died Tuesday at her home.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Blair-Carlson Mortuary in Emporia. Rev. William Imhoff will officiate and burial will be in the Hamilton, Kan., cemetery.
A memorial has been established with Beta Sigma Phi heart fund in Emporia.
She was born July 30, 1914 in Hamilton to John Wesley and Myrtle Ethel West Wildoner.
She married Joseph Mays. He died.
She married Clarence Baysinger. He survives.
She was a professional companion for the elderly.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the American Association of Retired
Persons.
Other survivors include a son, Clarence of Manhattan; daughters, Cheryl Schmidt of Burlington, Joan Patterson of Arvada, Colo., Carol Ryan of Springfield, Mo., Juanita Facklam of Fremont, Neb.; brothers, Dale Wildoner of Phoenix, Ariz., Kenneth Wildoner of Riviera, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
