Imogene F. White funeral in Pratt
Imogene F. White, 70, Pratt, sister of Alta Goodman of Augusta, died Sunday at the Pratt Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary in Pratt. Rev. Tom Harlan will officiate and burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt.
She was born Jan. 1, 1915 in Pratt.
She married William J. White June 19, 1938 in Pratt. He preceded her in death June 26, 1983.
Other survivors include daughters, Myrna Hershey of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Marjorie Muth of Wichita; sisters, Verna Adams of Benton, Ky., Thelma Hall of Pratt; brother, Bill Shaffer of Pratt; and grandsons, Mike Rodgers of Liberal and Evan Muth of Wichita.

Russell C. Voyles died at his home
Russell Cornelius Voyles, 67, 335 E. 14th, died at home Friday.
His funeral was at 11 a.m. today at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. David Simon officiated and burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born March 19, 1918 in Mount Olive, Ill., to Eno and Minnie Sarah Lehmen Voyles.
Voyles married Virginia Rose Schoeneweis Nov. 21, 1936 in Alton, Ill. She survives.
He worked in the salvage department at Boeing Military Aircraft Co. in Wichita. He was a member of Mystic Tie Lodge 74; the Wichita Consistory and the Midian Shrine.
Other survivors include sons, Jerry of Dallas, Texas, Larry of Meadow Brook, Ill., Dennis of Nashville, Tenn., Chuck, Genter of West Minister, Calif.; a daughter, Judy Hubbart of Augusta; brothers, Ervin of Alton, Arlee of Alhambra, Calif., and Thomas of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Velma Phillips of ElMonte, Calif., Vera Fry of Phoenix; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ernest W. Young dies in Indiana
Ernest W. Young, 93, Fort Wayne, Ind., formerly of Augusta, died Jan. 13 in Fort Wayne.
A private service was at the Highland Cemetery in Winfield.
A memorial has been established with the American Federation for the Blind, and contributions may be made at the Miles Memorial Chapel in Winfield.
He married Florence Belle McCann Young. She preceded him in death in 1974.
He was a retired Beech Aircraft employee and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winfield.
Survivors include a son, Dr. William Young of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Laura Anna Evans dies at AMCI
Laura Anna Evans, 98, El Dorado, died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
A graveside service was held 3 p.m. yesterday at the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado.
She was born April 19, 1887 in Florence to Martin and Mary Ann Hunter Packer.
She married Jesse Evans. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include sons, Roy Hanney of Spokane, Wash., William Hanney of Wichita; stepsons, Hollis Evans, El Dorado, Charles Evans, Nashville, Ill., a stepdaughter, Dolly Grant, Arkansas City; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Alvin T. Carlton died Saturday
Alvin T. Carlton, 75, El Dorado, grandfather of Doug Carlton of Augusta, died Sunday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
His funeral was at 2 p.m. today in the Carlson Funeral Home at El Dorado. Burial was in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
He was born Dec. 15, 1910 in Ellis to Albert and Jennie Saunders Carlton.
He married Evelyn R. Cerney March 18, 1934 in Ellis. She survives.
He was a farmer and worked at the Tolle Furniture Store for 27 years before retiring in 1983.
Other survivors include sons, Darrel of El Dorado, Ronald of Morrow, Ga.; four other grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Brother dies in Oklahoma
Clarence Hagar, 60, Stillwater, Okla., brother of Verna Wilcoxson, Augusta, died Monday in Tulsa, Okla.
He will be buried tomorrow in Carney, Okla.
Survivors include his sister Verna Wilcoxson; his brother Lawrence of Chandler, Okla.; wife Lillian of Stillwater and a daughter, Jacquie of Stillwater.
